I was almost put off from buying this because of bad reviews. However I discovered that the same unit is also sold with speakers and the reviews for those listings are much more positive. I'm really glad I bought it. The sound quality is great, it has plenty of power and has loads of features that are difficult to match in this price range.My requirements were a bit unusual (see pictures). The unit had to be small enough to fit into my cabinet, needed to drive my sub-woofer, have good blue-tooth range, a good remote control, a sensitive FM tuner. and plenty of power to drive my 4 speakers. It scores perfectly on all points. I'm really glad I bought it!

I really like the sound quality produced by this amp and it does give a good surround sound. The previous more expensive one I bought had a noisy fan. This one of silent which is great. The reason for not giving it the five stars it deserves is that the remote control doesn't perform the function it should in a modern day world. You cannot switch between inputs (except Bluetooth, sd card and USB) so you have to do it manually on the amp. Likewise you cannot control the volume, tone, balance etc except for the above functions. What world do we live in where we cannot control things from our sofa? In the modern world I find it extraordinary that a remote is provided but it doesn't control the unit properly. So mid movie you have to get up and adjust the volume. And keep doing it whenever it is wrong. And you only really know the volume is right once you are sitting in your chair. How annoying. But because the amp produces great sound I am keeping it and having to live with laziness. I have to say I have had great help from the reseller who have been so helpful in resolving the confusion. So this is a great amp but with annoyances. If you can live with these then definitely it is worth the investment.

THIS IS A WARNING TO POTENTIAL BUYERS!!! This amp receiver DOES have 5 channels however it only has 1 RCA input per each mode, essentially making it STEREO ONLY ( you think its 5.1 but its actually 2.1 ) This model is VERY MISLEADING!! As an example if you try and wire this up from your computer, TV or any other device, you can only plug into 1 RCA socket / input on the amp which will only accept a stereo signal ( 2 channels ) not 5 which is needed for surround sound.The center speaker also only outputs to the left channel making this 5 speaker amp a pretty terrible choice! Since its a stereo amp in disguise, why would you want to have 3 speakers playing from the left side and up to 2 speakers to the right?? You wouldn't because it offsets the equal balance.A very flawed poorly designed device! However if you don't care about 5 channel surround sound and need a budget STEREO amplifier with up to 4 speakers then this is the ONLY reason you should consider buying it! You've been warned, don't be suckered like i have and bought this to replace an already stereo amp I had thinking you are going to get surround sound home theatre system. You wont!

Wasn't expecting much from this little device, but actually, rather good!the remote is cheap and nasty, BUT you need it to switch to Bluetooth, and it doesn't remember the mode it was in when powered off/on - That's annoying.but, other than that, it's a decent bit of kit. If you're after a 5.1 Bluetooth receiver that can handle a few ins/outs - you won't be disappointed with this.(Worth getting a universal remote for it though)

Excellent clear low end tv amplifier. Easy to connect to existing speakers.

The only way I could get this to connect was through blue tooth via f MP3 setting . I tried main panel and conversion to HDMI through all settings and aux- nothing. Bluetooth by MP3 only provided stereo sound that was out of sync with the tv

Very much liked the amp great sound but sadly the remote was less than useless no control on On Off and volume . Returned to sender but I must say that the sender were great returning e mails in under 15 minutes I would highly recommend this company

Remote control voluume control only operates in mp3 mode. Pre set graphic equaliser is not good. would not buy again.
