The actual workmanship of the pillow is very good and honestly getting 1.5 years out of a toddler pillow is pretty good. Toddler pillows don't have a lot of fill to them in general, so unless you purchase one that is overstuffed (and thus too firm to use when new), they are ALL going to flatten out over time and parts of the fill will bunch up in places. That's just how they are.If you're looking at the other two top toddler pillows on Amazon as well as this one and take your time reading through the negatives, you'll find that all have the same types of reviews. Half of the critical reviews on each of the three seem to say the pillow was too stuffed, and half say there was not enough stuffing in them. That is all personal preference and despite looking for one that might have more consistent reviews that stated that one was more overstuffed than the others, I could not find a clear trend. All three of them also have nearly equal the number complaints of them getting lumpy over time.We are not sewing experts, but even this daddy can open up a seam and add stuffing to our (and our daughters) taste. Even if my resewn seam isn't perfect, that is what pillow cases are for.Regardless, I'm buying a 2nd one of this same type to have a backup in case we have an accident or sick child issue with her current one. No one in my family cares if the pillow is "certified organic" so there is no need to pay about 40% more one with that label. That $8 savings may not seem like much until you consider that you could almost buy another pillowcase for that difference.Oh, and I also LIKE that this product does not advertise "chemical free". I WANT my daughters pillow fill to be treated with the industry standard anti-fungal agents and other protective treatments so that it is less likely to develop mold or other issues. If "chemical free" is a big deal to you, again this is what pillow cases are for.

I ordered my son a little toddler pillow, because an adult pillow was just too big for his little head. I searched high and low for a small, hypoallergenic, MACHINE WASHABLE pillow, and after reading all the various reviews, I decided to get him this toddler sized pillow.Fast forward a year, and my son sleeps with his pillow EVERY night. We take it with us every time we travel, and it has been washed several times (my son has had his share of stomach bugs, and it always seemed like his pillow got icky, every time), always according to the manufacturer's directions. Unfortunately, the pillow became completely flat. I tried all the recommended fixes, and nothing worked. I would re-fluff his little pillow every night, and by morning it was a pancake again.I still loved the pillow and so did my son, and I just didn't have the heart to toss it. Not to mention, I'd have to start over on the research and I knew how hard it was to find a washable pillow. I took a chance and emailed the company, and to my surprise...I actually got a (very prompt) response!I spoke with Heather, who was very helpful. She offered to send me more fluff to restuff the pillow, and it was at my door in just a few days! I carefully opened a seam, stuffed the pillow (to my son's delight) and reclosed the seam. It's as good as new! My son can't WAIT to sleep with his re-fluffed pillow tonight, and I am really, really impressed with the wonderful customer service!These days, so many people have a throw away mentality, and I hate that. I know that A Little Pillow Company is a small business, and sending out additional fluff cannot be cheap...but they definitely have a customer for life! When my son out grows this toddler sized pillow, we will be buying him a child sized one to replace it. I am really, really satisfied with my purchase, and I would absolutely recommend this company's products to friends and family.

I was in search of decent pillow for my almost three year old son. I first offered him one at around age two, but he didn't have an interest in using one until maybe two and a half.First we bought a toddler pillow that turned out to be too thick and he wouldn't use it, so instead he was using an old adult sized pillow that was flattened out. That worked okay, but seemed so big for him and I thought surely there had to be something sized for a toddler, both length/width wise, and thickness.Amazon is my go-to place for just about everything, so I checked here and came across this pillow from A Little Pillow Company. At first I thought it was little expensive for a small pillow, but then I saw that it was made in the USA and I'm always willing to pay more for something made here, especially if the rating and reviews are also great, as was the case with this pillow. I also checked out their website and read about how they fill their pillows with a top of the line material, and they're machine washable which is a must with a toddler!So, I went ahead and ordered this along with a pillowcase from the same company (I picked the owl design) and I'm thrilled with it! The quality is great and the size and thickness are absolutely perfect for a toddler. Most importantly, my son loves it and uses it every night! He looks so comfortable sleeping on it! He also uses it as a back pillow when sitting on the couch if we're watching a movie or reading.Again, very satisfied with both the pillow and the pillowcase and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again!

We bought the "Balloon Sheep" pillow for our 2 year old son and he instantly loved it. He started pointing to all the sheep and balloons and screaming with excitement which was great.The pillow appears well made and is exactly as pictured and described. Immediately after opening the box I smelled the pillow and there was NO scent. Many have a chemical smell to them that needs to air out for a day, this pillow does not which makes me very happy. No idea what you are breathing in with some of them. I still washed it out of paranoia but I’m sure it was more than fine.After 2 weeks of use my wife and I have noticed our son sleeps better throughout the night and wakes up less frequently. It is super light for him to move around and adjust as well.The pillow came with a little thank you card and some candy inside which was a nice touch. I’m glad to see some companies still exist that care and go the extra mile for their customers. Well done A Little Pillow Company if you read this.Shipping was fast. I received "Item has shipped" notification within 24 hours. As it is shipped via USPS and then Canada Post, it does take some time. It was exactly 7 days after shipping to my door or 8 from time-of-order.My only complaint about this pillow is I wish they made a version with little cars or trucks. Oh well. I'm exceptionally happy with the quality of the pillows I purchased. They're exceptionally soft and the perfect size. I didn't love the shipping charges, but accepted that the product was coming from the states - so there's not much you can do about that - and the product itself made it worth it. When I was shopping for quality toddler pillows online on other sites, I couldn't find any cheaper anyway because while I wouldn't have had to pay shipping, they were quite expensive (the shipping fee was surely included in the purchase price of the pillow by the seller/company), making the pillows I purchased by a little pillow company through Amazon actually less expensive. In a nutshell: love the pillows, my child does too, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Except maybe if it had included a pillow case :)

We've been using this pillow for just a little while now. Our toddler is still getting used to using it. He has slept on it a bit. It seems to be the right height for his little head (at first it seemed it might be a bit too high but after using the pillow for a bit, it flattened out enough to fit better). The pillow is great quality and fits the crib and toddler bed perfectly. I would definitely recommend this pillow!

We love our pillow.... the design is adorable, and it is a nice thickness for a little head. I wish it came in a larger size... it would be nice to have just 1 pillow that was big enough to span the width of the crib mattress.

Received within a week of ordering if expecially since I live in northern alberta... Super soft price is a little high but quality is fantastic my 21 month old loves sleeping on it makes it easier for naps and sleeping.. shipping is high but understood since there's import fees added to the price.. makes it easier instead of having a random payment taken from my card. Definitely recommend
