Just what I needed!
I used this to install a Rinnai Tankless Gas Water Heater. I ran the gas line (3/4" black iron pipe) to within a few feet of the unit, and installed everything else. I wanted a flexible gas line to connect the 3/4" iron pipe to the unit without losing any gas flow, and I wanted it to be flexible as I was doing this as one of the last steps and knew it would make things much easier. I had trouble finding a flexible option that didn't restrict flow that was equivalent and connected to 3/4" black iron pipe. This does not restrict flow and fit beautifully, connecting to 3/4" black iron pipe and the 3/4" inlet on my tankless gas water heater. This is just what I needed and has worked perfectly.

Remarkably hard to find!
I needed a 3/4" ID gas line for a new fancy stove, and I was blown away to find none of the local home improvement stores carried one. Not even one! If this had been male on both sides it would have been perfect, but a male to male union was readily available, so problem solved. 36" is plenty of length to let me slide the stove away from the wall to get access to the fittings, and it's nice this particular connector has swivel fittings at both ends to make hookup a breeze. My install passed county inspection, and I'm all set!

Same price as offered at my local HVAC wholesaler. ...
Same price as offered at my local HVAC wholesaler. I bought this here because it came with the threaded termination fitting and a female fitting for the other side. Most of these flex lines don't come with the female fitting when they are sold at HVAC wholesale houses. Note: This flex line is coated, which is code required for almost any application - don't buy an uncoated flex line - they are prone to fail and can cause a gas leak!

Used with tankless water heater and easy to install using a flex pipe.
I just replaced a 50 gallon water heater with a tankless heater. I need to convert the gas pipe from iron into this flexible pipe to ease the installation. This gas line fit the bill perfectly and it is very sturdy and safe to use with natural gas. If this water heater went bad, the replacement will be very easy to install.

Perfect connection line for our Tagaki Demand water heater
Perfect connection line for our Tagaki Demand water heater, it can be hard to find the 1" dia. size in Home Stores. I prefer a stainless flex connector for most gas appliances to minimize pipe joints which can be potential leak sources. Well prices, this is a great value and very easy to use.
