Q: can this be used to keep gas bbq grills clean. ? Can it stand heat? Can i season a pan or the grill with it?

You can cook on a stovetop. In The Rice Diet program at DUKE UNIVERSITY, it is recommended to use a food grade mineral oil. It has a high flash point. You can definitely cook with it. I have used it off and on for over 20 years.

Q: Can this be applied to a pocket knife to preserve the blade and lubricate the moving parts?

Yes, I use it on pocket knives, scissors, and other tools. Works very well.

Q: Can i use this on eggs to keep them freah?

Yes you can place a tablespoon of oil in the microwave for 10 sec then let cool coat the entire egg with the oil and place it in the carton small end down this will preserve your raw eggs for 7 months you can also google this but Eggs will last in the fridge for many months anyway

Q: Has anyone used this on wood cutting blocks?

Yes it can be used on cutting boards. I use it on my knives, as well as on my whetstones. I also use it with a blend of lemon oil, carnuba wax, and bees wax as a sealer of sorts on most of my buffed woods, and wood surfaces that will be I contact with foods. Make sure to use food grade oils and waxes or you could do your self, and others harm. Hope that this helps.
