Not super useful but very very fun!

Forget about filming.
It works fine, unless you plan on taking a pic or video. Both actions activate it to drop, rendering it fairly useless.

Close but not there
Uhg....I so wanted it to work. As others have stated, the drone takes off and keeps climbing. Because it interferes with the lower sensor, it makes it difficult to control and drop. Then a leg extension fell off sometime during the flight. Needs some fine tuning and leg extension that don't drop on there own.

Disables GPS functions
This item works exactly as described. However tonight i lost my Mavic Pro in the Atlantic Ocean dropping bait for shark. Drone wouldn’t accent only descended on return to home. We did however catch a shark at 1000$ value.The item does work great BUT YOU BETTER PAY ATTENTION TO DRONE DURING FLIGHT.The photo is the last time I saw my DJI Mavic

Fits original Mavic Pro
Worked great for my payload needs, MP1 has a weight limit below what this is capable of holding and dropping. Keep your payload around 300g to maintain stability and avoid battery and motor overloads

Buyer beware! Will crash your Drone
First problem was while trying to activate the light sensor to release the bar it had to be within 30 maybe 40 feet before it would recognize the release. After release I was bringing it back to the ground for landing. It confused the sensors when landing. Came down very fast as if it was in sports mode(but while descending!) any Mavic pilot knows that doesn’t happen while landing. But I digress... Drone landed so hard it flipped And destroyed the gimbal camera 3props and one motor. Btw I’ve been flying for over 5 years Never crashed or even came close to a hard landing..... Amazon please make this right...
