Good Quality
It came ahead of time and the rod looks to be very high quality. The windings on the guides seem overbuilt and sturdy which is a good sign. I am going to return it though because the telescoping feature only brings the length up or down by a foot, and I was looking for more adjustability than that. I’m sure this rod will work well for others though.

Very nice rods for planer boards. They have purple accents.
These are very nice (purple) trolling rods. I'm using them for trolling lures behind in line planer boards on Lake Superior and inland lakes. They work very well as the number one rod on each side in my rod holders that have risers. Helps keep the boards from getting tangled. The action of the rods is good and they really telescope down a long ways (to less than 7'. The accents on the rods are a light purple color. The more light you shine on them the lighter purple they are. Just wanted to let people know that so they aren't surprised. I wasn't expecting that. One of the two rods I ordered was damaged in shipping. The tip eyelet came out. Initially I thought I'd just throw a new tip on it but these tips are wrapped similar to the rest of the guides to that's not as easy as I expected. I fixed it by gluing the eyelet back in. So, check the rods over when you receive them. For the price this deal is pretty hard to beat.Brian W.
