Q: I know they say it is not compatible with the pervious battery model. has anyone tried it in place of the sdf-c battery collar to verify this claim?

Thanks for your question! This particular collar runs on a different frequency than the SportDOG In-Ground Fence and SportDOG Contain + Train Fence and is not compatible with those fence systems.

Thank you for your great question. You do not have to use the wire included with the fence. You can use any wire that is 20g-14g, solid, insulated, copper wire. Please note that all of the wire you use must be the same size, but any wire 20g-14g will work.

Q: Can you train multiple dogs at same time with the remote?

Thank you for your great question. This is an In-Ground Fence, not a remote trainer system. However, there is no limit to the number of collars that can work with one In-Ground Fence system.
