This rechargeable brio train is well worth the money. We were going through sooo many batteries with the other Brio engines mostly because grandkids would leave them running when they were finished playing. I wish Brio would make a couple more styles and/or colors in a rechargeable.

My grandson loves it. Holds up to his rough play. A little weak on hills, but otherwise great toy.

Our son LOVES this train. It does take just about all day for it to initially charge (I was wishing I would have charged it the night before he opened it so he could have played with it right away) but once it's charged, it lasts quite a long time. It is still running strong a month later. BRIO is quality and they hit the mark on this one.

As other reviewers have remarked, the engine isn't very powerful: it pulls maybe 4-5 cars. However the 4-year-old doesn't seem to mind, and it looks nice. I did a bit of research on battery-powered brio trains, and there were no good options. This is perhaps the best of the bad.

My son absolutely loves this train. We've charged it once and it has held up to a few hours of solid play.

Wonderful idea. Great little train.Unfortunately, after recharging it a single time, it stopped working. Lasted 2 days. Extremely disappointing for something so expensive.

My three year old grandson loves this train! He enjoys running it on the track as well as the floor. It is powerful enough to pull other trains as well!
