I recommend
I bought two.One for my three guinea pigs (average size adults) and one for my 8 year old ferret. There is plenty of room for each, however it is not big enough if you have two ferrets. And the ferret does frequent workouts so the cage is more for him to chill as he is getting older, hanging on his hammock and eating. However, as anything made in China, something always is a little off. In my case, one of the enclosures didn't have a slot cut out in the base of one of the walls to fit the wooden platform that comes as a bottom for the sleep nook/hiding area. Not a big deal to me for either the guinea pigs of my ferret enclosures. However, manufacturing errors seem to come often with this product as I saw mentioned in other reviews. The other enclosure had some mislabeled nail holes, so I worked around that and the cage is sturdy with no issues. I do wish that products were being manufactured as advertised. Again, things made in China...Also, there isn't a full bottom as it is meant for baby chicks or animals to be placed on the ground. For ease of cleaning I am adding a bottom that suits ferret needs and the other for the guinea pigs'.Overall, I love the look, the ease of assembly and use of these enclosures. Our animals seem very content and comfortable in them. Good looking homes for our animals.

Great little pen to use as brooder
Using this as a brooder for some chicks. It seems sturdy except for the wood floor in the little "house" area. That is very flimsy and does not attached , it just sits in 2 grooves. Pops up if you set the pen on grass that may push it up. Not a big deal but not a good design on the floor. The Pen is exactly the measurements as described. it is small but it is advertised as a small pen. Very easy and light weight to pick up and move. Access doors are adequate for the size of the pen. Overall, was better than I expected. Most little coops, hutches and small animal pens are just plain cheaply made and the cost is ridiculous. This pen is nicely made but at 70.00 it was a little over priced. Still, glad I purchased it.

Wonderful Home for Happy Bunnies!
These are wonderful! We bought two for our pet bunnies, and they LOVE them! These are the perfect size to keep your bunny happy and healthy! These were pretty simple to put together, though we did have to drill holes for the screws. They work great and look great. I am very glad we bought these and will purchase more if we get any more bunnies.Updated: My original review was on the rabbit houses shortly after we bought them in April. I gave them 5 stars. It is now July, and I have to take a couple of stars away, because these are *not* sturdy. They are already falling apart. The wooden floor inside is peeling and cracking and coming apart. I will have to buy a new home for my bunnies in the near future. So, while these are a great idea, and my rabbits loved them, they don't last. This was too much money to pay for something that falls apart in half a year. Also - one other note, one of our rabbits was smart enough to figure out that she could head butt the wire cage opening on the side and get out. We finally had to *padlock* it shut, so just be warned!

Works well! SO EASY to put together. Made of cedar!
I was pleasantly surprised when opening the box that it was cedar! Cedar has a great smell and is one of the better woods to hold up against weather and bugs when outdoors. We bought two. I put the first together by myself in about 10 minutes. The second, even faster, about 5. It's very simple! Not sure why people are surprised by the size as the dementions are in the photos and the description. One quirk was that the bottom boards are not made of thick wood and I am sure they will wear quickly. They also do not meet flush to each other and here is a gap on one side, about 1/2 inch, if you push them all the way together. This was true for both hutches.I do not believe these are suitable for chickens as chickens are just about as big as the little house portion of this! You aren't comfortably fitting more than one chicken in this. Might be good for a roofer. We bought two of these for our rabbits. We will be adding onto these and making them into rabbit tractors. We had to do something for our large bunny as he was miserable in the tiny cage we had for him (temporary emergency situation). The closure for the wire opening is pretty pathetic and won't keep an intelligent rabbit in not a racoon predator out!

I can say it was fairly easy to put together
I don't know how long it will last outside. I will update as I go along. So far, I can say it was fairly easy to put together. Big enough for 2 bantams, maybe 3. I would not put any more than that. It is light weight which makes it easy to move around to grassy areas. We also think it would be ideal for 2-3 week or older chicks if weather allows it. We live in Alabama and it is hot, and humid right now, no light needed. I would move chicks under a shed if it rains. If it is not raining, it can allow for ground time for chicks. These are thing that we have noticed. If used for rabbits, watch for digging out and this will not be big enough for large rabbits. Hotot, Netherland Dwarfs, Mini-rex, and any other small breed of rabbit would be okay in this for ground time. Again, I would not leave them in the same spot day after day without moving them around due to digging out and poop build up.

3 years and still in good shape
Purchased this Hutch March 2022. It's now April 2025. I bought it for my 2 guinea pigs. I'm still using it! The thin floor inside the little house broke last year. I now put a cardboard box in for the pigs. I do cover it when not in use with plastic drop cloth to keep rain off of it. It hasn't rusted. All parts still work great. It's easy to move around. If worried about predators the cage can be staked down and covered with a tighter weave metal netting. (I was worried about snakes and not sure how small of a space they can fit thru) I'm happy with this and would purchase again. My pigs have grown since I purchased, as seen in photos. They love to stretch out in the grass!
