A weapon in disguise!!
I am a very advanced player playing since last 15 years...wont call myself a professional as I have not competed in any professional level but I havebeen frequently playing against professionals almost evryday.....I have been very loyal to Gki series of padlers n have been using them since all ths time...Eastfield is my second choice aftr all ths years as i felt i needed more attcaking kind of professional paddler...This paddler is just so sweet and superb spin and control...many are saying about its speed but honestly i have not felt any speed issue as my smashes and loop shots goes like tracer bullets n almost invincible to return or counter.....from very first day ths is doing wonders to my game and most importantly is the superb control of the paddler....it definitely notches up one's game play and style....very very light in my hand n comfortable handle to control.....this is definitely a racket for very advanced player too n not just people who are learning....Please note that now I am defeating even professionals who have been playing nationals across the country....so go ahead and PLAY FEARLESSLY🔥🔥🔥🔥

Great for a beginner to build skill
I bought this racket to compete in a casual work league.. compared to the house rackets (cheap stigas and some beat up no-name paddles) it's a totally different beast. The first thing you notice when you pick it ip is thay It's a bit heavier than a typical paddle, giving the pleasant sense of heft and solidity one might expect from a British product :) This extra weight and the soft, thick rubber must be what gives the paddle its exceptional springiness-- a simple bounce test demonstrates that the ball travels almost twice as high off the Eastfield racket compared to the no name. The rubber is quite sticky, which really helps you feel the ball. Since I got this racket a few months ago, I've developed some powerful spin shots, thanks in large part to my Eastfield. In fact the new racket has been so popular in the league that I bought a second one for personal use.It does have a small sweet spot, but this is a feature not a bug-- the idea being to build discipline and accuracy: the paddle makes a distinctly different sound when you miss the sweet spot, and makes other rackets feel very forgiving. I assume this is related to the all-wood construction. This has helped my game further, forcing me to really find the right shot for a given situation.I am totally satisfied with this racket, and will continue to use it until my skill has increased to the point where a super high tech racket is beneficial (probably years from now).I would recommend the case as well-- it's high quality, and a good investment since the racket's soft rubber is very susceptible to damage. Also, it's rectangular rather than paddle shaped-- which is important, as the zipper on a paddle shaped case can abrade the racket's rubber.

Impressive quality
I have used it for around 2 months.I wish I had bought this as soon as I started playing. This was my second bat and it improved my game by a lot. My first bat was a totally overpriced branded and terrible Stiga bat called Stiga Boom, this was a way better investment for the price. The level of control and spin on the paddle is impressive and in just a few hours playing with it you can feel the difference in your game if you're coming from a cheap/bad bat. The handle is very comfortable and it's a joy to play with.It is quite heavy, but you'll get used to it.It's also pretty slow, but this is an advantage if you're a beginner as you can compensate for the speed with body movement and that will improve your technique. As you progress and transition to a slightly more aggressive game you'll start to feel the lack of speed more and more noticeable, at which point you'll want to either switch the rubbers or the blade altogether.Everyone has complimented my improved gameplay and I started to improve much faster with each training after switching to this bat.I have just switched to a Viscaria FL+Rasant Grip+Mark V for more offensive game, but the Eastfield helped me get a pretty good technique.I highly recommend this.

Several years ago, I have used my friend's Timo Boll and Schlager blade with Tenergy 05 rubber, they are very nice paddles but way too expensive for my taste as I'm just an amateur player. He has moved so I don't have the luxury to use his paddle anymore. There are so many choice of paddles to choose and it took me a few weeks to make the decision on Eastfield. The weight and handle size fits in my small hand perfectly, the rubber is very responsive with lots of control. I'm so glad I made the right decision, it's a best bang for the buck!
