Nice step up.
Beautiful silver trumpet in B flat. It came in very nice condition. I had to oil the valves, but other than that, nothing other than a wipe down. I played throughout middle school and high school, with a student trumpet made by Yamaha. It can't hold a candle to this Bach. My friend that I played with in marching band, orchestra, and wind ensemble, he played with a Bach, (this is way back, BTW), and that's how I knew to buy this one. The tone quality is awesome. It's not a cheap trumpet, but worth it.

Amazingly fast shipping!
So this trumpet is from multiple sellers. Mine was from Park Ave Music Center San Jose Ca. Let's just say I'm amazed! Not only is the trumpet beautiful and plays wells, the seller got this to us WAY AHEAD of delivery estimates! Like, a week ahead of time! Yassss

Son Loves it!
We purchased this trumpet because our son is getting more involved with his school band and Jazz. This is definitely an upgrade from his starter 300 dollar trumpet. Our son says that the valves are smoother and it is much easier to play. We are not professionals but you can tell a huge difference in the sound as well.

Fabulous Experiance
This seller was absolutely wonderful!! Not only did he ship this fast and at a great price, he was great about taking more pictures so I could make sure to have them for insurance reasons. Then on top of how responsive and terrific he was he even took the time to send extra music books. My son and my daughter both thank you. I have never seen my son play so much. He absolutely loves and cherishes his new Bach Trumpet. Thank you for going above and beyond!! I would not hesitate to buy anything from this gentlemen again.

Excellent
A beautiful trumpet. We had one slight problem with a part coming un-soldered but could get it redone perfectly locally, because it was not feasible to ship back to USA for the repair. The repair affected the lacquer finish in the area but is not a problem. My son is expecting a lifetime of wonderful playing.

American pride in craftsmanship
As this photo shows, hardened brown stuff was on the $3000 trumpet. Through the dealer, I asked if (and how) it could be cleaned off. No answer. Eventually the manufacturer replaced the instrument with another one: dented and unwrapped. The famed Bach brand, now part of Conn & Selmer, itself an icon of American pride in workmanship, has come down to this. It has become one of those impenetrable, unresponsive black-box corporations. Sad times...

Disappointed
I've been an amateur trumpet player all my life. I've had a Bach C trumpet for about 30 years and am very happy with it. recently I decided to treat myself to the B flat version, as an upgrade to my basic B flat Yamaha. Given its price and pedigree I expected perfection. Needless to say I was disappointed to find that the 3rd valve was sticking. I tried various oils and even stretched the spring. Eventually I had to polish down the valve with a fine grit sand paper. It's working a lot better but not quite a free as the other valves. Returning the trumpet was not an option for me since I live in Trinidad. I'm back to playing my cheap Yamaha, which works well and sounds almost as good.

Great trumpet
Expensive for a beginner but a great long term investment. Had a Selmer more than half a century ago. The Bach is every bit as good. Should’ve bought one years ago. Well pleased.
