Great for teaching lesson
Using them for a lesson for church. Haven't used them yet, but they are perfect to make my point.

just like when I was a kid!
No, this is not gourmet chocolate... but it's exactly what my Nana would give me every year when I was a child (late 70s/early 80s), and for that, I love it! Taste and texture are good, and the Hebrew lettering stands out in a time where most gelt you see around is just made to look like generic gold coins.

WTF
Man, Ill be straight up. Don't buy them!I ordered these coin chocolates thinking they had a good amount of them in each bags.I opened my package, and each bag had like 2-3 coins, like are you Fn serious! The photo basically is fake and its promoting a good amount of them in the photo but its nothing like that. The chocolates were melting and I just had to toss them out in the garbage. What a waste of money I don't recommend.

Can we talk?
The famous Jew, Joan Rivers, used to say, "Can we talk?" before she'd launch into a joke about being candid about something. Can we talk about gelt?I don't think Hanukkah gelt has every been my favorite chocolate. It's usually way too sugary and waxy to really be very good. It's like Christian Easter chocolate. Honestly terrible. So keep your expectations realistic. The reason I'm giving these gelt coins five stars is that they are just like the gelt I grew up with, and they have the beautiful embossed gold foil. For that, they are the perfect chocolate gelt coins.I got two boxes of these for all the students at my son's school during a Hanukkah presentation and for playing Dreidel. The kids loved them. Just be aware they are not for kids with a dairy or nut allergy.

Chocolate is good but costs too much
Apparently chocolate coins are a racket on Amazon. The quality of the food is good, packaged well for delivery, but I don’t like the price point. The price doesn’t change whether you’re close to or far from the holidays.

Disappointed
Disapppointed in the small amount of coins in each little bag. Overpriced. I can't comment on how the chocolate tasted. I never tried them. These were gifts for children.
