Mirta De PeralesHair Conditioning Balsam 8oz

I had used Wella Balsam back in the 70’s and had not seen it sold since. It was the best thing ever for shiney, silky hair. I stumbled across this brand and thought I’d give it a try. I LOVE IT! I’ve received compliments on my hair asking if I used something to enhance the color and shine. At my age, our hair tends to become dry, dull, and brittle. This balsam is truly a miracle!

made my hair silky and smooth! I have over processed very dry hair, this product is amazing!!! after trying product after product so happy I found this - no more expensive wasted on products

I was hoping it worked as well as the Revlon Flex Balsam that was previously on the market where I had people touching my hair to see if it was really as soft as it looked. To be fair my hair is damaged from color treatment and this conditioner seemed to work as well as some other conditioners.My only other complaint was the huge difficulty I had getting the product to come out of the bottle.

This conditioner reminds me of what balsam & protein conditioners used to be like in the past, which are hard to find now. The scent is fresh and not as spicy as Revlon Flex. Those saying it doesn’t smell like the green Herbal Essence shampoo- it’s not supposed to, it’s the Mirta De Perales *Herbal Shampoo* - the green one- that people were saying smelled like that (the scent of that shampoo was similar a few years back, however, they recently changed it, and it now smells citrusy).Also to the negative reviews who say this contains alcohol- the alcohols this conditioner contains are *moisturizing* alcohols, not the drying kind. This conditioner is great on my fine, wavy hair. Conditions, rinses out cleanly, gives hair a little bit of body. Anyone who remembers and misses the balsam /wheat germ conditioners of the past should try this. Excellent product.

Like many people - I loved the scent that Revlon Flex with Balsam left in my hair. Had my fingers crossed that this would have a similar effect. It doesn’t.It’s a decent enough conditioner, but I was (kinda silly - I know) hoping for more.

Insufficient conditioner for curly dry hair. I used this with the castor oil S Shampoo and I'm not sure if they changed the formulation but my hair was dryer than ever. Also, I looked at the ingredients, the only nourishing ingredient in there was avocado oil I guess it has too much alcohol because it dried my hair.
