It works well, however the plastic is very cheap. The battery lid broke just taking it off to put the batteries in. I just used the back of the one that I owned, it fit well.

Only a few functions
This thing has like 100 buttons. All that works on my VSX-505S is the volume buttons, input button, and power button. That’s it. I was really hoping I could use it to adjust the surround sound settings, bass, treble, and all that good stuff. Nope. Maybe it does a lot more on other equipment, but it’s almost useless for me. Dang
