Dorman 939-198 Wheel Compatible with Select Ford Models, Gray

After 10 years feeling vibrations at 70+ mph and accepting it. I had to get new tires. Thankfully tech mixed up tire when installing. Vibration was now at 65 mph and almost undrivable at 70+. Went back for rebalance and new tech said balance was perfect but had 2 bent rims. Vibration at lower speed was because they installed new tires with 1 bent rims on front passenger and 1 rear driver. Bought these to replace and can now go as fast as needed no vibration. Wish I had this tech 10 years ago after friend borrowed my van and got in accident. Bent rims never occurred to me but that's what the problem was. One minor thing with these were my hubcaps were loose. I just expanded the inner metal fit ring and ALL IS PERFECT

I was concerned that this wouldn't fit but it did. Received before expected.

POS. I bought a set of these to replace the old split rims on my 1972 F250, I specifically bought these because they work with the original hubcaps however, the rims had a partial groove in two of the four ears and none in the other two. The unfortunate part is I already painted, mounted new tires and put them on the truck so, now I’m stuck with the POS’s.

I bought two of these because the OEM wheels are no longer available from Ford.Both were bent right out of the box. On top of that, the original decorative trim rings do not attach to these wheels, because the dimensions of the tabs for where the rings mount are different than the OEM rims.Update: 10-24-24, I just lost a dog-dish style hub cap because the retaining tabs on these rims are not the same as the OEM rims. So this fiasco has cost even more money. I would definitely buy a different brand of aftermarket rim.

I ordered 2 truck rims for my wife's truck. 1 was good. The other was bent. They sent a replacement it was worse than the 1st one. Now I'm trying to get a refund.
