I was surprised my 15 lb pomsky would need a large, but based on the measurements that was the size he needed, and it fits. He does have a bit of room to grow in it, but he is still growing so that's fine.We have had a lot of trouble with harnesses, because my pup will chew through and destroy any harness I put on him while we're in the car and there's nothing I can do about it when I'm driving. We had another nice one from Voyager but it was like canvas web straps, which he chewed through in 3 minutes. This one is a lot more difficult for him to mess with, due to the solid material it's made from and also the vest-like fit.Overall I am happy with this product for the price. Can't see getting some super fancy, expensive harness when I know he'll just destroy it. It is a good solid walking harness and keeps him secure in the car.

I bought 2 of these for my 12lb chihuahua and my 6lb dachshund puppy.I could not get a size to fit my chihuahua well-- he's right in between sizes.I bought the tiny size for the puppy, she's now aprox 30% bigger (3 months later), it fit her the first day and still 3 months later.I love this design. The dachshund puppy fights and squirms like mad when we try to put it on her (I don't think she dislikes the harness, it's just the obstinate nature of a dachshund, we're working on it).So the velcro closure feature is devine, so we can "easily" wrap-and-slap it closed around her.Once it's velcro-secured, we can secure the clip, over the velcro, which makes it escape proof.She's tiny but she pulls at a FULL RUN for her entire 1hour walk and I feel very confident in the security of the harness that she cannot escape.We have tried other harnesses that equally secure, but they are mostly nylon strapping that rub at the arm pits. This harness is ideal because it's secure AND comfortable.FOLLOW the mfr size guide. If you fit in between sizes, believe it, sadly, this does not fit every small dog-- many, like my chihuahua fall in-between sizes.HOwever if your dogs measurements fit the size guide, GO FOR IT-- it's a great harness.

I was really struggling to find a harness that would work for my long haired mini dachshund. This harness fits her almost perfectly. It is very well made and strong and light weight and comfortable. I was a bit nervous that the velcro wouldn't hold and that she was going to be able to get out of it, but so far so good. I initially felt the buckles that snapped together was a bit odd being so loose and not adjustable, but I quickly figured out it acts as a handle as well as extra security. The only thing that bugs me a little, is that sometimes the fabric rough ups her fiber a bit on her chest. So I also ordered the other version of this harness with the softer fabric.

This is the second one I bought. One for my pup and one for my MILs Shitzhu. These are what we use instead of collars. They are light weight and soft and comfortable. They have a metal ring on the back to use for the lead or for a hook for the car seatbelt (for the adjustable dog seatbelt). I also can put it over his sweater if we're going for a walk and its a bit chilly out. Works perfectly.

I have an odd shaped 8 lb toy poodle who managed to wriggle out of his old harness to try to catch up to the mailman. (He didn't.) Our nearby pet store had harnesses similar to his old one, and they were $40 so I decided to give the Voyager harness on Amazon a try. The size small fits him perfectly, and is not shaped in a way that he'll be able to Houdini himself out of it. I'll be ordering another in case this one wears out. The 2 of them will cost less than the pet store one, so that's a happy thing.

This design is so good for dogs that do not want a harness put over their heads.When my dog saw his old harness coming over his head, he would have a fit so bad we gave up.This new harness is a step-in design so you put it on the floor and hold the dog over it.Lower the dog until his front feet go into the leg holes.Then, pull the sides of the harness up and secure the velcro and buckle.We still get some attitude at the velcro stage but it is nothing like the old style fight.So, this new harness makes all the difference in my dog's life.Once he has it on, he can happily go for his walk and enjoy being with his family and smelling the neighborhood.He gets his exercise and socialization.Before then, he stayed home alone while we went on a walk.

I love this harness! I have had this for 2 yrs and I have to say it has held up great!! At first my dog would try not to put the harness on , but now knows this item means walk, so all I can say it’s a great product has passed the durability test and comfort!

Best harness I have used! I bought for my new 9lb puppy (size S). Fit perfectly,so easy to put on,& comfortable! I have 3 other older dogs that I had other harnesses for & gave up using!My puppy doesn’t mind putting this on or wearing all day. And I don’t feel bad having it on her because it’s so soft & comfortable but very secure! No worries if it coming unattached!I just bought a size M for her as she starting to out grow the S. It also has held up very well & cleans easily. Great price too!

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent harness. Tried different ones over the years but never really happy with them . My Westie seems very happy and comfortable wearing the Voyager Step In Harness. From my point of view he can’t wriggle out of it either. Westie owners will know that they can be very stubborn and dig their heels in🤣.I did as the website said and measured my dogs chest. He measured 22 inches and he weighs 10.5 kg. I got him the XL size which was perfect. There’s enough room as well to put a waterproof coat underneath in winter too.It was worthwhile the wait as it was imported from Phoenix, Arizona and took 2 weeks to arrive to the UK.Good value for money even with the international postageI would highly recommend this product

I carefully measured my dog and ensured that I ordered the correct size, but when the harness arrived the armholes which cannot be adjusted were either too small or in the wrong place because the edges of the harness there rubbed her armpits and she refused to walk. She has other harnesses and walks fine with them. This is a strange fit. I have returned it but it comes from overseas and since there is no UPS Drop Off near me, I have had to return it my post and I have discovered it comes from overseas and so there is customs declaration, two outside labels etc. Don't know cost yet!My advice is do not buy this. In future I shall try to ensure items are UK sources on Amazon UK in future.

These are absolutely the best dog harnesses out there. Spent years trying to find one that didn't cut into my dog's legs or pull off when they stopped suddenly and this is it. I love them so much I've sent for several over the years. Not because they've worn out - they last years - but because I like my dog to have a variety of colours, plus, you can put them in the washer, so you need a few spares for when some of them are in the wash! That's my excuse anyway!

This is a decent harness and seems very secure. I can tell it is made well and it looks nice.I measured my dog exactly as stated, from the description and image guide and even had someone else check the measurements versus the harness options too. However it is a size too big for him and so gapes slightly at the stomach when he’s standing. I think it may be made a tad too big.

Ideal - keeps my rescue Westie safe on walks. She is 8 years old - have had her for 3 years and has only just started to come out on walk on a lead with my other dog. Needed to keep her safe and secure. Ideal. Size just right. She is about 8- 9 kg - as a guide for other Westie owners.
