This is such a beautiful piece of art. My bowl fits perfectly in its wood stand and there are no issues. For those filling the glass dropover area with decorative stone, might I suggest you are taking up valuable swimming space for your bettas and, if you look at the "empty" space in my pics, you may see the appearance of a waterfall effect with the aqua color glass area setting on the wood. I find this to be a big, unexpected bonus! Also my betta fully utilizes the extra "dropover" space in the bowl.My first bowl arrived cracked due to a shipping crush. Pam at Breezy Gardens sent my replacement asap and their customer service is stellar!!! Thank you 😁 in reading a review I was taken aback by someone thinking it was ok to place this bowl in a dishwasher and then ask for a free replacement. Goodness gracious.Oh and, my purchase is the 8 inch bowl which roughly holds a gallon of water...minimum need for a betta. I absolutely love this piece and my new betta. It really dresses up my room for a finishing touch❣️

When I first purchased this I thought it was a little pricy, but after having it for a while, I'm really happy I bought it. The glass does have some bubbles, but I think it adds to the character of the piece. Yes, I said piece, because it really is a work of art. I love the wood and the burns from the hot glass being pressed onto it just add even more character. I originally bought it as a unique fish bowl for my Beta and it worked well. Definitely a conversation starter sitting on my desk at work. He passed a few months back so I'm thinking I'll do a small atrium. If I can find a larger one I'm thinking a fairy garden would look awesome in it. I don't really understand the negative reviews for this item. My bowl looks nothing like the picture and I couldn't have been more pleased.

This was actually way better than I expected! I know it’s hit or miss with which one you get as they are all unique, but I am very happy with the one that we got. It fits our beta fish perfectly!You can’t expect perfect sheerness from something hand-blown like this, but it is pretty good overall! The wood isn’t finished at all- but the good thing about that is you can finish it yourself however you prefer. (Or not finish it at all.)The bowl sits on the wood nicely and doesn’t wiggle.When it arrived the outside package didn’t mark fragile, which made me a little nervous. There was a box within that box marked fragile, though, so I would just recommend for the manufacturer to ensure that “fragile” makes it on the final exterior box.Overall, I would definitely recommend! This will make a great piece for our table!

Arrived in great condition and looks lovely!

My delivered piece is wonderful. The beauty or the natural wood melding with the blown glass is hard to describe. If you natural art this is likely to be a new favorite for you. I gave the overall a 4 only for one important reason. The bottom of the wood base has not been finished on my piece. This presents two problems. First, the word itself drops flecks onto the surface it sits on, which is a small but noticeable distraction. Second, the base is not level on mine and I was planning on making mine glass bowl a small aquarium. The possible lack of stability worried me that when filled with water it might tip over and break. I fixed it myself with felt but the manufacturer should change their design for the future.

I purchased the 8” one. The glass is 8” wide and the base is about 9” wide. I love the shape of it. The glass sits on the wood and can be removed. Yes there are bubbles & imperfections, but this is mouth blown glass, people. I might try and wind some tiny fairy lights around the wood. Right now, it looks great just next to my salt lamp. A unique piece that is easy to clean for my beta. Love it. Recommend
