Silver Spring 4" High Lightweight Foam Threshold Ramp for Wheelchairs, Mobility Scooters, and Power Chairs

My wife had a stroke on Dec 29, 2021. After 7 days in the ICU and 2.5 weeks in rehab she was sent home in a wheelchair and with a cane. Thankfully she has progressed tremendously over the last 3.5 weeks, but it was critical that we get a ramp in place. Neither of us is a lightweight so we needed a sturdy solution. This is it! It’s lightweight, easy to move, the perfect size and stable! Highly recommended!

Coating is bubbling up and peeling off. We have 2 ramps. One gets some sunshine but the other is total shade. Both are peeling.The ramp is great for the purpose. However, the gray surface is totally peeling off and looks terrible. I’ve had luck getting any help from the company as I’ve phoned and emailed them.

I needed a ramp for my son who is wheelchair bound. We have a step down living room and bought a 4” ramp so that he could go in and out if the living room. We folded a yoga mat to raise it a little to be flush with the floor and to keep it from sliding. The ramp itself is very light and I can move it easily if I need to.I enjoy this ramp very much and am planning on buying more in various heights for other parts of our home.

This 4” ramp is perfect to navigate the gap between my sliding door and the deck. It stays in place, yet is lightweight enough to pick up and move readily if needed. It is strong enough to support my 200 pound brother in his wheelchair without shifting. Its surface is non slip, so I’ve been able to walk down it this winter in spite of snowy and icy conditions. Its surface seems not to be bothered by the application of snow melt chemicals, either. Overall, It was a good investment.

Do not recommend to power chair users.. Husband uses a power wheelchair and this ramp lasted 6 weeks. He has maybe been in and out that door 20 times. The listed weight capacity is 800 pounds and Hubby and his chair combined weigh 670 . I'm beyond the return date but I get it. Will have to get a heavy rubber ramp , but at least it will last.
