OSTENT Full Controller Shell Case Housing for Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Color Silver

I really liked the design and it feels great, unfortunately some of the face buttons don’t fit in their sockets properly, for me it was where the “B” button would normally be. Had to use the face buttons from the original which actually ended up looking really nice, but would still be great if all the prices fit. Still works like a charm otherwise.

For those who are unfamiliar with 3rd party gaming shells for consoles, controllers and other accessories, the tolerances are not going to be OEM spec. Some adjustments will need to be made in order for everything to fit correctly. This is not that big of an issue for people who’ve built and put together plastic models. Some snips and a nice sharp X-Acto / hobby knife. After some finessing and adjustments the final product looks and feels extremely nice.You can’t go wrong with this shell, especially for the price. Item was packaged well and shipped in a timely manor.

The gold d-pad bent, the gold controller case makes all the buttons wiggly, and in the controller case I had to scrape off the plastic in the hole where the screw goes in, the holes in the controller for the screws don't actually fit. (Product is NOT recommended)

I ordered this set to add chrome accents to my new joysticks. I had to use a drill to make some of the holes larder, but the final product is pretty good! The bumpers wouldn't work with the original shell, so I had to leave those out. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Finally got around to switching the housing to a few old controllers and this rehousing project was going along great until the screw port on the top facing half broke. Making the components not fit together and making the project a complete fail. This isn't my first time with anything electronic and I was gentle as heck and I still heard that plastic snap. Would love a replacement tbh.

Clearly somebody was trying to cash in on the controllers original design but failed. The pieces don't fit together without serious modification (scrapping/cutting of the plastic). The opening for the D-pad is to small for a "transforming" D-pad. I guess you get what you pay for.

Build quality was so bad that it was actually entertaining, but I can't argue with the final result.

Everything seems to be fine, the color is cool, and so on, but the main problem is that some of the buttons do not fit the controller and get stuck
