Perfect Fit for Header
Fit my ASRock X570 AM4 motherboard USB3 header socket. Connected to a usb-e/usb-c cable and works excellent and great transfer rates

Allows you to add a case installed USB-C to an older MB’s
Turns the USB3 header into an adapter for a case mounted USB-C. Works as advertised. Good quality item. Excellent value for the money. Seems just as fast as my new boards with built in USB-C ports. Connection is easy. You may need a splitter if you still want to use one of these but also want to connect your case mounted USB3 ports.

works perfectly; thanks!
Great product and price. Works perfectly with x470 motherboard that did not have a usb-c connection built-in -- thank you!

Works perfectly
Works great. I needed a USB-C header but mobo only had a USB 3.2 and this did the job perfecty. You’ll note the product page says it is returned often. This worked perfectly for me but the I will returning it as it is a little too tall for my build. I have an ITX PC and the USB-C header from the case is too long for it to close nicely. If you don’t have size constraints then this is a great purchase and I trust it very much so far. Speeds & bandwidth seem to be within margin of error of my regular USB 3.2 ports

Nice little adapter
20p side seems secure, type-e side seems a bit loose. Would've been nice if there was a low profile right angle version, had to use a right-angle usb3 extension because the header was under my cpu cooler and mb power cables, and the psu butted against the mb on that side.Have not tested speed, as that wasn't my primary concern. USB devices are detected on the usb-c port, and that's enough for me.

Great for adding USB C to your case
My case has a USB C port, but the motherboard did not. This adaptor fixed it. Works great.

Works exactly as described. Well built and decently priced.
I needed to use the front USB-C port on a PC I was building for Christmas, but the motherboard I was using didn't have a header. I bought a USB 3.1 splitter to divide the USB header into two female ports from the motherboard, plugged the front USB 3.1 into one, and used this adapter to plug in the USB-C cable into the other. This adapter worked perfectly, it was delivered just in time. The build quality was very, very good. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this adapter if you need one, and if I need another in the future, I will absolutely purchase again. I didn't take any photos because as soon as I received the adapter, I installed it in the PC, and it got sent along to a new home.

It did the trick!
I wish there was a USB 3.2 Gen 2 version. My Motherboard had its built-in USB-C 3.2 Gen2 header gone bad. Gigabyte wants me to send my motherboard for RMA, while leaving me with no computer in the mean time. Since this is not feasible, I chose to use the other available USB 3.0 header so I could connect the case's front IO USB-C 3.2 Gen1/2 header to this adapter. It works just fine. Obviously, the speed is not the fastest when using USB 3.2 Gen 2 devices, but it's better than nothing.
