So I’ve had this for about a week and a half now. It’s really good!Pros: easy to setup, works with HomeKit and picks up audio very well. Night vision is good and the alerts are working wellCons: may disconnect here and there from HomeKit would have to restart it from Arlo app. It has this weird cricket noise maybe coming from internal workings but I’ve listened to it and moved it but still there. If you have other audio you cannot hear it until it’s dead silent but still not overpowering.

We’ve been using this for over 6 months now and I don’t have any complaints with the product itself. Sometimes out wifi craps out which will lead to connection issues but that isn’t the product itself instead it’s the wifi that’s the issue.The pictures are clear, we have it set up to take short video is there is motion or audio in our baby’s room, the thing I love most tho is I can’t access the monitor from a different location. When we first started leaving our baby with a sitter it was nice to check in after bed time so I could set my mind at ease that everything was okay and the sitter didn’t put anything extra like stuffed animals or blankets in the crib.Update: the biggest con I have seen to the Arlo is that the temperature doesn’t seem to accurate so we tend to ignore that feature.

The 1080p picture quality is why we purchased this camera and returned the Miku. The quality is so much better and we can actually see at night. However, we aren't in love with this camera either. We have android devices and the sound won't play on our phones unless our phones screens are on and unlocked. So if you turn your screen off you no longer hear the audio. We contacted support and they haven't helped at all. They keep saying to check the camera and make sure it's plugged in. Yes it's plugged in. We get picture and audio! Until we lock our phones. So it doesn't function as it should and support isn't helping. Next step is giving my brother with his iPhone access to see if it's an iPhone vs android issue. Also, it no longer detects when my son is crying. We started using this for my 18 month old instead of the 3 month old. And it can't even detect my 18 month bawling his eyes out so we don't even get those push notifications anymore.Update: I figured out the issue with the sound not always playing which is a common issue. So it's unclear to me why support failed to help. For the "always on" sound settings you don't go to the always on settings area. Naturally. There is an icon on the screen with a head that you need to tap on. It doesn't tell you what that does when you toggle it on but it's the always on feature. So I'm much happier now. I'm just not looking forward to working with support in the future since they weren't helpful this time.2nd update: I'm loving this camera so much more now. The negatives are that it's doesn't use 5GHz for some unknown reason and support does not know the app at all. The product information that came with the camera also was missing instructions. Like they never were updated. But I love using this camera. We travel with it now and it's so easy to connect to new wifi and put my son down for a nap. I also put it on the stroller when he falls asleep in the stroller. So it being battery powered is amazing! We have an echo show so wherever my son is napping, I just ask Alexa to show me my baby cam and it will keep the video/audio going as long as I'm in the room.

It works with the new hub, which wasn't obvious when purchasing it, so we had to upgrade everything. However, once we had it we loved it. It's a shame there isn't a way to quick disconnect it to things, but honestly, I think you could 3d print a lot of that. It has been fantastic- reporting temperature, humidity, etc. It really does a good job for me being a heavy sleeper making sure that it hears the baby or someone messing in the room. Let's me know when to let my other child know they're being too loud because it's setting it off, etc. Overall, very good product.

It was fine — while it worked. We didn’t even hook it up until recently. Less than three months later, it doesn’t work. From the beginning the power cord was loose — it’d come unplugged and run out of battery all the time. Now the plug straight up doesn’t work. Had to tape the plug in there and it’s a game of cat and mouse to see if it’s charging. Got it charging tonight for the first time. One hour after baby goes to sleep, with nothing touching it, stops charging. I’m done with this POS, came on here to write this review and also order a new one. BTW, was also a nightmare to get it set up on wifi for the first time. (I say this as someone who is very tech savvy.)

Thank you. Im a new mom and its crazy but I became so worried about my son when he moved into his own room. I can watch him, turn the music on and off from my own room, even if a noise is loud near him it pings and when my husband is away he can do all of this as well and in a way be here still. Thank you, its the best sleep Ive gotten in soo long. Also Im aware that Ive barely scratched the surface of all that this bot offers our family. Again did I say thank you?

This has been a great camera so far. Setting it up was a little glitchy, it would get stuck on a step and I had to restart it a couple times, but it got there. The mounting is plenty sturdy with good options. I wish there was a good free timeline storage option, like 24 hrs for free or something, but that's my only complaint.

Cute and provide good sound and picture quality. However, not sure the temp and air quality readings are accurate (based on comparing with other means of measurement). Notification overload when added to general Arlo system so clearly a case of dis-synergies. May repurpose as back-up indoor camera and buy new baby monitor.

Je ne peux pas contacter un technicien d'Arlo à moins de m'abonner à leur service de support. Je dois les payer pour faire fonctionner/remplacer quelque chose que je leur ai déjà acheté et qui fait défaut. Pire philosophie de service à la clientèle que j'ai jamais vu

Very nice camera but that is about it. Alert of movements while no movement, alert of noise while no noise at all and no alert when the baby is crying. Notifications of alerts of low temperature or bad air quality when everything is just fine and finally, disconnections for no reason and battery draining out while on charge. Item return, completely unreliable and costly for a cute useless device.
