Best Braiser Money Can Buy Under A Hundred Bucks, Worth Every Penny!
All I can say is wow! I own about a dozen pieces of enameled cast iron cookware from a few different brands and this by far comes closest to Le Cruset quality.I purchased the 4.2qt (4qt) Braiser originally as a gift. After further discussion with the recipient, she was fearful of weight and that it would be too much for her to handle being that she's a little older. So instead of returning it, I decided to keep it and so I'm happy I did! As you can see from my photos, I chose jet black for the color... Thought it would be best to conceal any possible staining or accidental abrasions upon heavy usage.... And my God, the thing is absolutely gorgeous!Yes, it's heavy... 13lbs with the lid which to me means quality, that's one of the reasons why I love cast iron cookware, it simply means business. This braiser retains heat so well, it's the perfect size for so many incredible meals, like my favorite...Meghan Merkels one skillet pasta! There's been no signs of usage after multiple uses, no rust, no staining and no chipping. Very easy to clean and care for, of course you can't be rough with it, you have to heat slow and not cook too high when using on the stovetop.... Also, don't bang your utensils on enameled cookware, don't use metal or anything that will scratch and don't put it in the sink if it's still hot... You'll crack the enamel!Highly Highly Recommend!

Beautiful Dutch Oven
I've seen BK products around places like HomeGoods and they seemed to be good quality. I took a chance with they're dutch oven and I'm really impressed. Feels lighter than a Lodge but just as sturdy. Zero imperfections. I can see it lasting a long time as it should. If it's on sale for for it. I got my red 7qt for around $68

SO much better than other (affordable) Dutch ovens!
I never write product reviews, but I've been so pleased with the two BK items I've purchased that I'm breaking my silence. My previous Dutch oven was an AKS (Artisan Kitchen Supply) 6 qt. which despite very careful handling, started to almost immediately crack and chip. It worsened until I had to ditch it for safety reasons. I was looking for another 6 qt., and was worried the BK 7 qt. would be too large and heavy. I bought it anyway, since I LOVE my BK Black carbon steel skillet so much. Miraculously, the BK 7 qt. is about the same weight as the old 6 qt., and is less awkward to handle. It is a delight to cook with, and even fits in my undersized sink for cleaning. So far, no big sticking or staining, although it will probably stain in time. Great value. Highly recommended! I will definitely buy other BK products in the future.

Pretty good
This is a very nice product but quickly started to chip on bottom; bk was kind enough to replace my Dutch oven so that’s why I rate it 5 stars

large enough for two chickens plus veggies
i looked at all the options before choosing this one. a lot of the others were cheaper, but had chipping problems, according to the reviews. i like that this is one of the few dutch ovens NOT made in china, and that it seems (so far) to have all of the quality of a le creuset, (only one besides LC that's safe at 500 degrees F) at less than a third of the price. good heft, thick enamel, lid fits perfectly on the pot.

bought as alternative to La creuset
I have a very old and worn le creuset same size that was given to me by a chef, the finish mostly worn off. I bought this as a budget alternative. It works fine as a dutch oven in every way but the reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that the lid fits in such a way that if you are boiling something n the stove it seeps through the lid. That doesnt happen with the design of le creuset.

Good price
This pot it’s the best invention that I did for my kitchen, easy to clean, a little bit heavy but the best thing is I can finish my dishes in the oven
