What does 2000 mm zoom mean?
First is zoomed all the way in on the roof peak behind the palm trees. Then zoomed all the way out so you can see bird poop on the peak. This is hand held. A tripod is recommended for long zoom.I like this camera because I get great zoom with less total weight and cost than just a long lens for a SLR. And I don't have to lug around multiple lenses. If you're considering this, check out the great reviews on YouTube for pros and cons from people who are far more knowledgeable than me.

Great Camera
Nikon makes a great product. It works exactly as described. Easy to use right out of the box and has many features available to you when you learn through their manual. I purchased for my wife and she loves it.

5 stars for the P950 with a caveat but 3 stars on the bundle items
I love this camera so much that I almost feel naked without it. I'm a total camera rookie at this point, but I'm learning and experimenting with RAW images and photo editing/enhancing. What I have found with this camera is that vignetting seems to be an issue.. not a huge issue, but it does occur periodically on a small percentage of my RAW images, and the vignetting is fairly heavy where the corners are almost black. Could be the loose nut behind the wheel or my rookie status so can't take any stars off of the camera. I thought this was a malfunction, so I returned the 1st camera (the seller suggested a return instead of offering reasons why this might occur so their customer service might not be too camera savvy). The 2nd unit has the same vignetting at times. It's not enough of an issue to make me return it again, so I'm keeping it because it is amazing otherwise. The seller was quick to respond to my initial issue, and refunded the purchase within 3 days of receiving the return. I had to buy it twice due to purchasing from a 3rd party seller instead of Amazon, but no issues there. The bundle does offer many nice add ons, but the camera bag is very cheap, as well as a few other items. Recommended

Great distance shots
Camera easy to use and great for long distance shots. Used at granddaughters graduation and. Could zoom in on her in a football field from bleachers. Great pictures

Really nice camera
I had a problem with the first camera I purchased. It was user error on my part. The camera flip screen kept going black when trying to use it. It’s because the viewfinder and the flip viewing screen has a program the has to be turned off. Each time you have anything in front of the viewfinder it shuts off the side viewing screen. Spoke to Nikon trouble shooter and they didn’t even advise me of this option. I reordered a second camera and it did the same thing. My husband figured it out in about 10 seconds. Green Camera was fast and responsive without any issues in returning the camera. It’s kind of a shame that I sent back a perfectly god camera. I googled the camera and corrected this user error. lol I would highly recommend Green Camera.

Camera Stopped Focusing 6 Months After Buying It!!!
I loved this camera, it took amazing pictures with such clarity, BUT, not only did some of the accessories that came with it NOT fit, it has now stopped focusing! It was working one day and then the next day, I couldn't get it to focus on anything, no matter what setting I am using! I got this camera as a gift on Christmas (2021) and have been using it regularly and with much success, so I do not understand why it suddenly has decided not to work anymore. I HOPE the company will make it right and FIX it or replace it as I have only had it for less than six months and this is an EXPENSIVE camera to only work for a few months!! This is supposed to be a long term investment product. Beware, if you have this camera, it could just stop working for you. I hope it doesn't happen to you and I pray the company will fix it. Will post an update to let you know how they are going to handle this situation and, by the way, I did not drop it or do anything to it that would cause it to stop working.
