Great color, easy to use! Clean area/skin immediately after use to avoid staining!
First time using this brand, but it was highly recommended by some of my friends! The first picture (green outfit) is what my hair looked like before I used the Pillarbox Red Manic Panic Amplified hair dye. I got my hair done at a salon a month or so ago, and all the color had officially faded. The color that this product put in my hair was phenomenal. And it was really easy to use! Since I just had some highlights, I slathered it in my (gloved) hands and raked it through my hair. Some parts are more red than others, but I’m pretty sure that’s due to how I applied itBe careful though! This does stain. When I washed it out, it left residue in my tub. Just make sure to clean and scrub your tub or sink with your standard bathroom cleaning products immediately after washing out your hair. I’ve got a few red stains on my skin, but if you catch it early enough and scrub it out (I used some baby wipes and water) you should be good to go

WILL STAIN EVERYTHING!
I have used many Manic Panic dyes and have had no issues with any of them staining. This particular color red WILL STAIN EVERYTHING! My shower looked like a murder scene. Ive never had any other reds or other colors stain before so be warned. But the color is fantastic in my hair and is very vibrant. It always lasts for a long time.

(Pillarbox Red) Does Not Match The Color Shown, Stains Everything
I've been dying my hair at home for 9 years, using Manic Panic off and on the whole time. I've usually had good experiences with it, but this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had coloring my hair. First off, it stains everything the second it touches it. Of course, staining is a risk you run when you use hair dye, and I'm used to having to break out the bleach to dab a spot or two off my counter, but this was a NIGHTMARE. Even just rinsing my brushes off stained my sink pink. I realized then that I was in for an awful time, but the dye was already in my hair. When I rinsed my hair, the bath tub looked like a crime scene. The picture of it didn't fully capture how stained it is. Everything is tinted pink. I had to scrub at my skin with tea tree oil which always gets the dye off me, but didn't completely work here. Dye was coming off, but dye was still on my skin. I dyed my hair yesterday, and since then I have showered, scrubbed at my face with tea tree oil, and washed my face a few times, and when I thought I was in the clear just now and I dried my face on a white towel: the towel is now stained pink. I'm furious. I couldn't even see the dye on my face, how is it still there?? Cleaning up this mess has left me completely out of bleach and stain remover and the mess isnt even fully cleaned up yet.On top of everything else, this dye ISN'T EVEN RED! the images show a very true red, the description calls it true red, but what I am left with is this ugly coral color. I have never had a dye turn out this far from what the manufacturer said it would be. So disappointed in Manic Panic.Included 2 different pictures of my hair just because my camera isn't great, but I think you can see how far it is from red. I am so mad, because now I'm stuck with this color. I can't imagine it'll be washing out any time soon.TL;DR if you want red hair, this is not the dye for you. If you want to keep your sanity, this is still not the dye for you.

Get pigment, bleeds A LOT
I love this color, it's a beautiful shade of red, but it BLEEDS. I'm no stranger to dying my own hair, so I know that almost all dyes bleed to some extent, but I rinsed this dye out of my hair until the water ran clear and it was still bleeding red onto my clothes for a week. It also stained my shower more than any other dye I've tried. It all worked out fine for me since I mostly wear black anyways, but it's definitely something to note. If you're worried about the bleeding/staining, I'd recommend the normal manic panic that comes in the plastic jars. The color is beautiful and vibrant, though, and I'm definitely loving it in my hair!

Love it!
I've been using Manic Panic dyes for years. I use multiple colors at once. This is (pillar box red) is one of the few that lasts pretty much forever. It fades to more of a hot pink, which I don't mind. It never fully washes out, which I also don't mind. It's pretty crazy though. When I lighten my hair to start "fresh" with dyes, this color and Hot, Hot Pink stay even after bleaching. The color is actually more vibrant after I bleach my hair. I'd definitely say Pillar Box Red and Hot, Hot Pink are without a doubt the best value for hair dyes. They'll stay in your hair until it grows out!

Great red dye for super bright color
I love it so much, never have used the amplifed manic panic but this red def replaced my old dye. I love this red so so much! I used to dislike manic panic for it’s easy washout but this red def isn’t like that at all. My hair was almost platinum in my old highlights before they were dyed with this for reference.

It's pretty but... the staining :(
The color is undeniably beautiful and vibrant. I put it over bleached hair and it's very bright and pretty. But the staining is crazy. I have used many reds with different brands and decided to try manic panic this go around. It stained my tub worse than any dye has. My neck and ears have been stained for weeks, especially after sleeping. Sure it comes off with some alcohol but I have never had such an issue with dye that bleeds after the fact. I am now about 5 or 6 washes in and it's finally calming down to the point where my fingers aren't pink after scratching my scalp. So I guess the packaging is accurate, it is amplified lolI wouldn't buy it again.
