I picked this stone to make a sapphire ring for my grown son. I was nervous before it arrived hoping it would be the right size and shape to tumble for a wire wrap ring and when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I will say that right now it's in Grit 3 (prepolish). I only kept in in Grit 1 for three days because by that time, it had smoothed out perfectly. I also shortened Grit 2 and am shortening Grit 3 as well. I likely keep the polishing grit at full recommendation. However, I wanted to note it that the coarse grit tumble may take more stone off than you want if you're not careful. As it is, my stone is the perfect shape, the color is magnificent and I couldn't be more pleased. I would definitely buy from this vendor again to see if I get the same quality another time.

After receiving this crystal, I keep looking at it and thinking, "I paid good money for this!" Although the description says "not dyed" the authenticity certificate indicated it was "dyed." The stone/crystal is about the size of a penny and only part of that stone actually was translucent enough to possibly be called Sapphire. I decided it was not worth the money and returned it.

This sapphire is very nice, the stone isn't very clear but it has beautiful color and is a good size, I will be buying more Jem's and creating more stunning jewelery!!

Just what I wanted, pleased.

When we got it there was no white to the rock. The color is fading out of the rock . Half of the rock is purple and half is blue and white.

Not really happy with this stone. The sale page said natural the gem cert says color enhanced and it looks it. It also has three cracks through it and they come together in a way that will only yield one or two decent sized faceted stones. I'll up date this after I cut them if it is worth telling about.

Not the best quality but good enough for display.
