Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper LUSTER (17x22 Inches, 25 Sheets) (S042084) , White

This is beautiful paper... it's thick, it takes the ink from my Epson 3880 perfectly, and the finished product looks like studio quality output. All of the things that you would expect from something called Ultra Premium Luster. However... I've found that this paper stinks, meaning that it emits an unpleasant smell that is noticeable in confined spaces. I had a few large proofs sitting in my office for a couple of weeks, and an Unidentified Smelling Object (USO) started to bother me and my office visitors. I could not pinpoint the exact smell for two weeks and it was driving me crazy. Did something die in there, I wondered? Did I step in something in the parking lot? If it makes you happy to imagine it, I was sniffing all around my office like a bloodhound trying to discover the source. Alas, it was simply the stack of Epson paper behind me that was stinking up the place. I moved the paper to another room, and the smell disappeared... mystery solved. I can't be certain that it's not just the ink from the printer, or perhaps the combination of the two (that's why I didn't take away any stars). If you work in a small space like me, this might be interesting for you to contemplate. Otherwise, enjoy this majestic visual media in well ventilated areas!

If you are looking to take your printing to the next level it is time to get serious about paper. For the best prints you cant have the most amazing printer money can buy but still get crap prints if you are not feeding it quality paper. This pack is a good blend and the 22" size is my preferred medium. I still don't like the price but like inks you just have to suck it up and pay the price of admission.

I ordered this paper to use with an Epson 3880 printer. I use the smaller 8 X11 size for printing small size projects all the time. I am very pleased with the color and B&W tonal reproduction on this larger format paper. I have found that the thickness, finish and quality of this paper is equal to prints I have ordered from photo processing centers.My workflow is to "dial in" the look of the print on the smaller size Epson Ultra Premium photo paper Luster, then print on the larger size. Make sure to download and install the ICC printer profiles for your paper or the color reproduction or overall brightness of your print will be off. I have found this paper to give consistent results from box to box. As a side note, I am not affiliated with Epson, I did not receive this paper as a promotion, I am writing this as an avid photographer who would like to share the experience I have had with this product. Finding a good paper to print on can be daunting and some can have quality issues from lot to lot, I have not found this to be the case with this product and would highly recommend it.

The five photos I printed on this paper came out lovely! Somehow these for lost at my school, though, so I was only able to use 5 out of the whole 40 that came with. Good quality! Would buy again

I have been using this paper for years with my Epson 3800. The color reproduction is very accurate and in the 10 or so years I have been using this paper, my prints from that long ago still look fantastic. The new paper is packaged a little differently with less 'insulation' around the paper than in old days (see picture). However, in the couple packages of this newer packaging design, I have not had any issues with the corners of the paper.This paper has a nice luster texture which looks fantastic when using Epson printers.

Hello,I love this paper.The issue I have is packaging. The Epson paper, packaging box, I just received is different from the one advertised here. The one I received is black/blue, not white/blue.The paper I received from Amazon was damaged in shipping. It was packaged in much smaller box than before with not much protection.There's no warning label, "Fragile" on the shipping box and inside of the box was very little craft brown paper, stuffed around for shipping protection.My point is: Epson made nicer looking packaging box, much smaller and more prone to shipping damage if not packaged properly.Nicer looking box does not do me any good, when I have to repackage, return and wait for new package to arrive. More inportant to me is: What's in the box.I hope that Epson would go back to original packaging, bigger white/blue box 21" x 26" x 1,1/4", just like the photo on this page.Sorry, I'm going to take two stars away and give you only *** three stars for this reason.Thank you Amazon for quick and prompt service, I would hope that your people would take little extra time and package the content better, than we all would be happier.SincerelyRudi PopovichPopovich Photography, Inc.

I bought this paper for my Epson 3800 looking to print photo's I had neglected printing and framing for some time. The quality and feel of the paper is great, just like you would expect from any photo processing center. I don't know how well the output would be on a non-Epson printer, as the ink and printer capabilities have a lot to do with the final output too, but I would highly recommend this paper for a good quality Epson. It's worth the money and you won't be disappointed.
