Easy to swap out old fob insides into new fob just be careful when opening not to let the inside spring fly out and key. Is no problem to put back in but you need to know how or it won't flip anymore. Also make sure you take the immobiliser chip from old fob and put in new. And carefully as its made of glass and breaks easy. If you crack it or anything you will need to buy a new chip and get it coded to car at a cost. So be careful and take time getting it out. If like my old fob I had to carefully cut away at the old fob by the key blade to get my chip out its was a pain but worth it once get out and dont got to pay to have a new chip coded as its not that cheap. Hope this helps someone. But the fob works as it should. I got this one and got the same thing on wish with delivery wish cost more and took forever to come lol

Doesn’t fit, plus my car wouldn’t start when I swapped it over so I had to change it back to my old one , really not worth it

The instructions are useful but fail to mention that the old car key blade cannot be switched into this and especially that you need to have the coded ignition chip moved over. I had the blade cut and it wouldn’t start my car, the lock smith explained that the chip needs taking out of the old key and put in the new one. The key does not come with a Ford logo so you need to take this out of your old key or order replacement ones. The product is decent quality with metal accent pieces and the buttons feel great. Would recommend this just have in mind it is an extra £10-£15 to have the key cut. Worth it.

the key fob seems of decent quality and i am very happy with it.it was easy to fit my old key internals into it including the transponder chip for the immobiliser.the only fault was i could not use my existing blade as the top part was a slightly different shape so would not close. also to note some key cutting places wont cut the blade that come with it (timpsons).i took it to a auto locksmith who were happy to do it.if my existing key blade would have fit it would have got 5 stars

Not one for a negative review, because this is someone's livelihood, but the key wasn't fit for purpose. The key itself is too wide and no one would touch it. To add, it would have been simpler to replace the blade as well.

Very easy to swap over and very durable

Shell great internals fit old blade not compatible got the included blade cut after a lot of fuss because all key cutters didn’t want to touch a after market blade and blade to thick for ignition so a waste of money from my end would of only been a couple of quid more to get a proper one from key cutter don’t waste you’re money go somewhere like timpsons and get a proper one for £15
