Q: This stuff works great. How much over the recommended dose can I go?

When the product manufacturer states to use “this amount”. Why do you want to waste your money by using more. Do you think that using more is going to give you 2 times as much improvement? They do a lot of research to come up with the proper amount to use. If you give your equipment a double dose, I don’t think it would hurt it. But I don’t think you will improve it 100% more than the amount they say to use.

To start, we really would not suggest using B100 in cold weather. You would want to cut it down to at least a B20 or more with either #2 or even #1 Diesel and still dose heavy with anti-gel depending on how cold you will be getting. Many other factors also come into play like your filter micron ratings, the B100's feedstocks, if you are running tank heaters, and a few others. I would definitely run it out as much as you can. Top it off with a fresh tank and add the opti-lube. This winter formula makes for a much smoother and somewhat quiter running engine. I have recommended this too all of my friends and clients with diesel trucks and cars.
