These are such nice cards. For the price, I didn't think they would be as nice as they are. 3D elements, sparkles, textures. I would've expected to pay $8-9 each for this type of card but then were way less. Everyone I've given them too has had the same reaction "wow, pretty card!"

Great deal and good quality for a set of various birthday cards that work well for general birthday greetings for people (friends or acquaintances) of various ages.

How often do you want to send a bd card and realize you don't have any, but need one soon?I often will spend too much for ONE card, to get something special, tailored to that person, but unless you want to spend ALOT each year on just a decent card, I decided to get this variety pack.Going to do CONS first:PAPER - Not QUITE the quality I am used to and like. Not really flimsy, but not the highest quality.FLAWS - where the card bends in half, so far I have found one that looks like a razor cut along the line in the card, which makes it pretty unusable.PACKAGING - Yes it comes in a box, but the plastic cover on it is really thin and almost useless.PROS:FOR THE PRICE - It's worth it. You get 12 cards for about 12 bucksFANCIER - for about a buck a card, it's hard to find ones with foil and/or glitter. So these are a step above generic cheap BD cards.VARIETY - They have some that are suitable for children, women and men. They have some more traditionally masculine cards that variety packs don't often have. Ones that are great for the men in your life. There are some that are cute for kids too.BOTTOMLINE: Are they worth 12 bucks to have on hand? I would definitely say yes. Low price to pay to keep around when all of a sudden you realize someone's bd is coming up and you have no cards. I don't send a ton of cards a year, so guessing these will easily last me probably over a year.

I appreciated the variety of designs and the 'special' touches (glitter, extra dimensions). These don't feel like cheap cards to me, although the card stock is slightly thinner than more expensive cards. The greetings are a little wordier than I prefer but still generic enough for use with people you don't have a super-close relationship with, while you can add your own longer note to make them more personal.

These are "cheap" Hallmark cards - not the kind you would find in retail stores. Paper is thin, greetings are generic, envelopes are utilitarian at best. As for "handmade", a few cards have minimal decorations applied - the rest are simply printed. If you want nice cards look elsewhere...
