A great shade alternative for sporting events without breaking your budget. Easy to set up and store. Not to heavy but sturdy enough for most windy days at the game. The only drawback is that it can get a little warm inside unless you unzip the windows for ventilation.

Work great for the beach and a couple of people. It is too big to pack into luggage.

I Love this Shelter!!! It is Much Bigger than I expected!!! It is SO EASY to set up....took me about ten seconds (before I even read the directions!!).....However, I DID have to read directions to take it down and it was a little harder....but now that I know HOW to do it....I can take it down in about a minute....!!! Make sure to gently pull apart and fold up the last section (near bottom) of the two front legs before you fold up the tent and put it back in the case (it easily fits back in the case)!! It is VERY lightweight, lighter than my folding camping chair that is in a similar size case!!! I can easily carry this, the camping chair and a beach bag full of towels, 'stuff' and cold drinks and a couple books all by myself!! I am 5'6" and I can almost stand up completely in this...it is a couple inches higher than 5' and it is Very spacious inside both in width and depth.....Very well made (I wish it was this easy to set up my 8x8 "instant" (not) tent when I go camping!!! There are two attached outside pouches that you can fill with sand on a windy day!! There are four of the cheap metal stakes that come with all tents nowadays (you can get four Good stakes for a couple bucks that will be more useful). There are three screened 'windows' across the center all around (right above the blue section in the photos)....they are held up with Velcro and you can roll them down and there are slip buttons to hold them in place and out of your way...make sure they are in the up/closed position when you fold up the shelter!! It is a Great Shelter that I will use when camping as a daytime 'lounge' area for reading and napping....I will also be taking this to the Beach ALL the time now (I live in Florida, we can go to the beach nearly all year long...so this will get a Lot of use)!!I just LOVE it....I am SO happy I got it and it is a great price for the quality and size!!! I bought this for my boys soccer team in our Spring Season as it rained a lot! This was a great addition to our team, my bench fits in it very well and our belongings were covered. It is easy to pop up and put away with only one person, only takes a few seconds total! It takes longer to get it back into the bag than what it does to put it down. I am looking forward to using it again in the fall, hopeful that my full team will fit under it as we go up to 12 players on my team! Here is to a summer full of beach days and shade while camping. :)

I was super psyched to try this shelter, and it is exactly what I hoped for! I've been going to the beach a lot, and each time I go, I wish I had one of these. This is perfect for me. It has super fast setup (the first time, it took me almost a minute because I fiddled with it a little instead of reading the instructions). Take down was even faster - just a few seconds, but then I got caught up trying to figure out how to deal with the two long stakes. I remembered that they had folded out and locked, but I couldn't quite figure out how to fold them back in again. Pushing them together definitely wasn't working. So, the trick is to pull the two parts of the stake out from each other at the joint, then folding. It should be super easy. If you are finding you need to force it, stop, pull the stakes away from each other until you feel it become very loose, and then fold.The shelter has pockets on two sides on the outside to fill with sand (or rocks) to weight it down, and there are included stakes and stake loops. For the beach, the stakes likely won't do much, so focus on filling the pockets with sand, or getting one or two of those spiral stakes that are specifically for going into sand. For using on the grass, the stakes will work great. It has a nice tough tarp bottom, so even if the ground is a little dirty / wet / muddy, you'll stay clean and dry. The shelter has three windows that are held up with hook and loop tape so they can be rolled down if you want to take advantage of the breeze. At the bottom of each window are loops so the windows can be tied up out of the way.I love that when I was putting it away, the bag isn't too tight. It doesn't have tons of wasted extra space, but you don't have to be super careful rolling it up perfectly to fit it back in the bag. The bag has sturdy carry straps, and the whole thing is very lightweight. This is perfect for me as I want something that I can carry all the way to the beach myself. Of similar shelters, this one was the lightest weight I found. For the beach, I don't need the stakes, so it will weigh a little less.
