Nicely made, keep coffee hot for hours

Since my last percolator died, I've been using a French press. It makes great coffee, but has the annoying property that by the time I'm finished with my first 16oz travel mug the remainder has cooled to room temperature.I tried a thermal carafe, but it only keeps coffee hot for 2 hours at best. If I guzzle my coffee I can enjoy it all, but if I sip it at my leisure it's lukewarm by the time I go back for seconds. Thirds if any are room temperature.I got so tired of dumping cold coffee that I decided in invest in an airpot.An airpot is a Thermos-like vacuum insulated urn with a pump, which promises to keep the coffee hot for 4 to 6 hours, twice as long as a thermal carafe. But I'm skittish about such purchases: I try not to buy non-electronic durable goods from "marketplace" retailers who don't curate their selections, because the majority of products are rubbish waiting to be sent back to the landfill. It can be a gamble.That's why I was pleased to see a Bunn airpot at a reasonable price.It's too large for my needs -- the French press has taught me to live on about a liter of coffee per day, and the less full an airpot is, the more quickly it loses heat -- but there are no question marks in my mind about quality.The airpot does the job. It keeps the coffee hot until I'm ready to drink it. The third cup is not as hot as the first, but it's still too hot to guzzle. Best of all, this product is designed to outlive its own warranty. if it breaks I can get replacement parts instead of chucking it in the trash and hoping that my next gamble pays off.The French press thing is starting to get old, too. I hope the Bunn GRB coffee maker lives up to the company's reputation as well as its airpot has.

These pots are durable, long lasting, keep hot beverages HOT for hours and have been our workhorse thermos in our deli/cafe for almost 15 years. Much better than glass lined vacuum thermoses.

When it arrived, I immediately gave it a careful quick wash and then filled it with boiling water. Closed it up and checked it the next day. My water was still very hot. I was happy. Happier still when we had a gathering of people at our home and made coffee for the crowd. It worked great. Even got a couple of compliments on how nice and hot the coffee stayed throughout the meeting. It a keeper for me.

They keep liquids HOT for 36+ hours and dispense easily & quickly. They never lose their pump action and don't need gasket replacement like the other types. The all-metal housing does not absorb smells and cleans easily. Durable, non- breakable metal body.
