Love the Samsung TV's, had to replace an old one, then also purchased a second TV to replace a generic brand horrible smaller TV. When we installed the new TV's the small remote was too difficult for my hands. (I drop things constantly and have issues with small items. My dexterity is less than stellar these days.) I ordered these and when they arrived, they were easy to install to recognize the lastest TV's. But best of all , the layout were exactily like the remotes we had with our older unit. No huge learning curve. Works for me!

The new Samsung Smart TV we purchased this past year came with a tiny remote that tries to incorporate more than one function in the controls leading to confusion; accidentally muting the sound, accidentally changing the channel or worse, switching to another app in the middle of a program.The Universal Replacement Remote Control works perfectly with our Samsung Smart Television and gives accurate control of all the functions except for voice control. I knew that voice control wasn't included when I ordered the unit. What I appreciate best is the universal remote give me individual control of volume and mute. The universal remote has number buttons to change the channel number instead of having to do the numbers from the television screen, which is slow and irritating.

My Samsung TV remote got finally broken completely. It is not because I mistreated it. The remote design was completely wrong from the start. It required a lot of learning curves too. Anyway, I have been using this remote and it works really great.

I purchased two remotes because the last one that I purchased a year ago broke and I wanted a back up.

Why Samsung doesn’t include numbers on there Remote is mind-boggling? This remote works great and you won’t accidentally launch apps by touching them. It’s priced right and works right out of the box. I swear no programming if it’s a Samsung smart TV nice product saves a lot of time.

My original remote died years ago & I got tired of manually reaching around the side of my 18 yr old tv to press buttons.I was very skeptical if this remote would work b/c of how old my tv is. It’s a Samsung from 2006, flat-ish but built long before “smart” tv’s were all the rage.This remote seems ergonomically designed. You do need to buy AA batteries but it works perfect after that. The volume & channel buttons are raised & flat, so u just push up/down with your thumb. But the main reason I bought this is for the sleek design & that it doesn’t have a ton of buttons that I don’t need. My tv is old & I can use chrome cast from my iPhone…the basic buttons are all I need to get by.If you want a no-frills remote that looks slim, then this remote is for you!
