Awesome but runs big.
I'm a 6 ft 2, 260 lbs man and I gotta say this is a wonderful light weight jacket very waterproof with no insulation and breathes well. Great jacket but it runs a size big.

This is just the right thickness for a good rain jacket.The size was perfect for my son he's a big guy and the 3x was great.

Great find!
Very nice and great price. 3x is very large. My husband is 6’4 and 300 lbs and this is big on him. Not to heavy and works well over a hoodie. He builds homes in the snow and rain and this keeps him dry.

Fantastic jacket, but whacky sizes
I ordered 3 of these jackets because they were all too big. Having said that, I kept ordering different sizes because I like the jacket so much. It's very functional, water resistant, and odor resistant (if you want to smoke a cigar, for example). I wear an XL in shirt size, but a medium is what I ended up keeping with this jacket.

Heavey Duty Raincoats
These are worth the money... color is good (baked in (it does not wash out), the fabric on the inside is a nice mesh cloth-like fabric, but outside is the rubberized rain weatherproof raincoat material and the zipper is heavy duty also. I bought this one as a gift for Mom. My current (Charles River Men's New Englander Waterproof Rain Jacket ) is 3-year-old, so, might buy another as a backup.

Size comparison to my spring/fall jacket
Charles River Rain Jacket. This was designed to do one thing well; keep you dry. It is not an all-purpose jacket and you will most likely not want to wear it if it isn't raining due to the nature of the fabric. Think of it like an umbrella. Like most real rain coats, it is oversized for two reasons; to keep your phone & wallet in your pants pockets dry and to shed water away from your body instead of having it drain onto your hips & legs.If it is 45 degrees and raining, you will be wearing a fleece jacket, or down vest or spring/fall jacket underneath it, and there is room for that. I would not wear this to work in because there are better options that are lower priced and made of tougher material and have larger hoods for a hard hat. If you do not need a serious rain coat, there are many options of rain-resistant jackets and many are more fashionable and they can be comfortable even if it never rains.

Very worth it
Absolutely love my rain coat I’ve had it for a couple months now and it’s survived everything I’ve put it through from rubbing up against trees and brush to getting snagged on things I’m impressed with the quality it’s very lightweight and is a great wind resistant shell well worth the money size was on point the liner is very breathable all around great rain coat
