I really expected this to show up crunched lol it came in a bubble!

this darling hat came shove in a not big enough envelop, causing some breakage in the straw. i glued the damaged areas. i also had to lie it out on a table and use books to weigh down the brim for a week so the brim would sit flat. it's a cute hat, but i think some thought needs to go into the packaging.

Arrived with a smaller red straw hat curled up in a Mylar shipping bag completely curled & bent. I used a handheld small steamer and steamed the brim while turning the hat to get all sides. I shaped a little by hand & set on a table with books on top to flatten. Was good to go within an hour. Sounds complicated but it really wasn’t. Having a steamer helps!Wearing it with a hair turban underneath in pic.

Very good hat, I’ve never seen this color anywhere else. Perfect for reenactment. The hat was folded in he envelope but came back to shape nicely by putting a book on the brim.
