Good value and quality.

Bought this to make a pair of the Iron Age artifacts known as 'divination spoons.' This involves clamping the sheet to a wooden former block with the spoon shape gouged into it then hammering the sheet into the mould with a rounded hammer. The brass responded well to the hammering, taking the required shape without splitting. Having never tried this before, I might go for a thicker gauge sheet next time, but the 0.5 mm is certainly easy to work. Cuts easily with a decent pair of tin snips too. Oh yes, and given that the cheapest divination spoons I could find online were selling for £125, I've saved a lot of money going the DIY route!

It's really irritating that Amazon keep on reinserting items that I have already reviewed - this is one of a dozen or so items that have crept back into my list. As I said before, this is good stuff, and certainly did the job for me. If you want a brass sheet of this size and thickness, this is the brass sheet you want.

Bought this sheet brass to make corner strengtheners for a coffee table I am currently making for a chess table I started a while back the sheet is great the company was excellent, fast service and no problems.

I needed it for a model I'm making the thickness was great it polished well and was eyse to work.

Good quality product, however, I did sustain an injury whilst placing it on the door. VERY sharp edges which sliced into my hand causing a deep cut. This made me concerned for my dog cutting his paw on it so used a clear silicon on the edge. Kind of spoils the look if insoected close up!
