M50 50MM Swivel Stainless Steel Wire Rope Single-Sheaved Pulley Block

I actually bought this to use with 1/2 in rope to assist in downing trees. I have many trees on my property that need to come down, but I need them to drop in specific areas. Using the rope with this pulley chained to a tree allows me to do this safely.

Very good value for a mostly stainless block. The sheave, I believe, is cast zinc. I needed a weather-resistant pulley in order to create a block and tackle arrangement on my 40' extension ladder. The old rope wore out, and while replacing it, I decided to upgrade so as to make the massive and heavy 20' extension section a little easier to raise. This block handles 3/8" rope well and would probably handle 1/2" too. It is larger than I expected, but this in no way diminishes its usefulness.

Haven't used them yet but they seem to be well made.

Solid pulley. Used for raising / lowering supplies and mid sized tree limbs. I don't think I would hook a lifeline to it.
