The Real Deal!
I got into essential oils about a year ago. At the time, I didn’t know much about them, only that I was allergic to a lot of synthetic fragrances in bath bombs and wanted to make my using something less likely to upset my nose. Indeed, the essential oils I bought did not upset my nose like the commercial bath bombs did, and I happily went about my life. However, I had just bought whatever was cheapest at the time, and after a few months (I stored them indoors, in a wooden box away from heat) a fair number of them started smelling really off and bad. I wondered if essential oils really expired that quickly, but I decided to get some new ones. This time around, I did my research. It turns out that the brands I had before were likely adulterated or otherwise fake. I discovered the EOU (Essential Oil University), which is an independent organization that does gas chromatography and mass spectrum analysis to test common brands and see if their essential oils are really what the company says they are. You guessed it…the brands I had bought had failed those tests. However, Plant Therapy had passed, and furthermore, is supported by Robert Tisserand, a prominent expert in the field. Coupled with their fair prices, Plant Therapy came out ahead in my research, and it now my essential oil provider of choice. Now, onto this product. This is a great starter set for someone just getting into essential oils since it contains the most common ones a beginner would probably want, and honestly the set is cheaper than getting them individually. Included are: Lavender, Eucalyptus, Sweet Orange, Peppermint, Lemongrass, and Tea Tree. They all smell reasonable to my untrained nose – not overpowering and cloying like artificial fragrance, and not weird and stinky like chemicals. They work great in bath bombs and in a diffuser, too. I’ve also discovered a nifty use for them: if you clean with vinegar but hate the smell, you can add 5 drops of peppermint and 5 drops of orange to the spray bottle full of vinegar, and by the next day, the smell changes! It smells far, far less vinegar-y after that, which has been great for my hubby because he hates vinegar-smell. I use them in my spray-mop solution and it works great for that, too.Overall, I’d definitely recommend Plant Therapy over any other essential oil companies. While I’m sure there are other legit companies out there, I doubt any of them have prices this reasonable for the real deal. Plus, if you just want to get started in essential oils without a huge investment, I’d recommend this small set – it’s got everything you need to start off with!

Very nice products, great quality for price
I am a massage therapist and use aromatherapy often. I normally use doTERRA however, I had found myself in a situation where I needed several essential oils and could not spend that price to replace all of them. I have used plant therapy before. Being that this said had four of the essential oils I needed I couldn't resist the price. This was the first time I had bought a couple of these scents from plant therapy. I have to say, I was very pleased with the eucalyptus and lavender quality as well as the other smells too. While I'm not ready to say I have completely converted to plant therapy, I certainly am more open to getting more of these products. I have found with several sense it seems to be about the same quality aroma as other more expensive brands. I know plant therapy put information out about being a very good quality company with high standards.I am happy with this purchase, the price is great in comparison to other products, quality was great, and will buy again

Great company!
I order these essential oils online if I’m ordering a gift. If they’re for me, I shop in the store (Idaho). This is a great company! Their employees are very knowledgeable, and their products are great! They’re the only brand of essential oils I use!

Wonderful set and scents
UPDATE: I ordered another one a year later and I truly enjoy the oils. I've used almost all of them, even scents I didnt think I would. I've also mixed a few to create different scents (my fav mixes are orange/lavender, and orange/lemongrass). The new pack also arrived with the box in perfect condition and with no leaks. I don't really use the peppermint, and I only use the eucalyptus when I'm sick, but having the others makes it worth reordering. I added the last star bc after using most of the pack I was excited to order it again, and that anticipation was the full 5.Love this set. The packaging was neat and I love the wooden box. It was gift worthy (I would add a little tissue paper or shredded confetti strips if I was gifting it). The scents are lovely and calming. Some are much stronger than others: I've only used the lemongrass, tea tree, and lavender in my diffuser. The sweet orange smells too much like candy (I was expecting something a little more like a citrusy household cleaner) so I haven't used it. The peppermint is ok... nothing special. The eucalyptus smells like medicated menthol (think vicks vapor rub) so im saving that and the peppermint for when I purchase a diffuser for my room alone. I dont want the entire apt smelling like medicine, cough drops, or candy, but the minty aromas would definitely help me sleep. The lavender has a lovely scent but it's very weak. I find myself using many drops in my diffuser, and it doesnt last long at all. The tea tree is my second favorite. The scent is very calming and it's slightly stronger than the lavender; it lingers for quite a few hrs. Lemongrass is my favorite. It has the best aroma and stays the longest; the scent lasts beyond the 6hrs that my diffuser runs for, and fills the entire apartment. I would buy the whole set over again just for the tea tree & lemongrass.I took away one star for the fact that some of the scents do not last long, and I'd like to see a wider variety of scent types. overall I would repurchase, recommend, and gift this set.
