UNO Superman Man of Steel Movie Masters Superman with Black Suit Figure

I don't think the pictures do this figure justice. It's just incredible. For less than four bucks it's just a steal... or would that be a steel?UPDATE: I liked this figure so much I bought a second one to give to my son, who will be four next month. He loves it, and I think it's even more impressive out of the box!Seriously, this guy costs less than four bucks, at least as of the time of this review. When I was a kid in the early eighties, Star Wars figures cost anywhere from $2 - $4 and weren't near the quality. BUY HIM!

Nice sort of throw back to the design with today's movie. Not a lot of articulation but looks good. Oh and a good price.

this is a very detailed and highly posable action figure and the black suit looks cool. the hands are some softer rubber which might be good because they are flexible or bad because they might come out or break don't know yet. son loves it and price was unbeatable at the time!

This figure was an immediate purchase as far as I was concerned. Some version of the Superman movies and shows take advantage of the fact that Superman wears variations of his outfit, one of them being a black outfit. Ever since the Death and Return of Superman angle in which Superman is brought back to life in a special suit have I enjoyed seeing Superman in the black outfit. In the movie he wears this outfit in a dream like scenario in which all of Earth is terraformed into a new Krypton and he and Zod wear their black military style outfit. Superman rejects willingly aiding these Phantom Zone criminals and wakes up as their hostage.This figure is a near perfect replica of the one in the movie with one minor exception. His eyes are red as if he is firing his heat vision which he didn't do in the movie. My guess is that Movie Masters wanted to have this appear as a sinister version of Superman so as to make it seem a little more scary. Either that or they didn't read the script completely or understand the scene. I overlook this, seeing how cool the black suited Superman is.

This figure is so cool. i really liked it. i'm not too much of a superman fan cause he's too goody goody for me and the movie was just ok. but i saw this figure and had to get it. the sculp is exactly the same as the colored one and im guess it's posses well. havent taken it out of the box and probably never will. i read somehwere that they were actually thinking of putting him in this black suit for the movie, fan boys everywhere would have had a fit.

Product in original packaging and in good order

I haven 't busted this black suit Superman out of the packaging yet, but if I assume the figure is the same one as the other blue/red movie version than I know what to expect, as I love that figure; great detail, and great poseability. What does impress me (again) is the detailing of the figure. Even through the packaging I can make out the detail on the suit skin, the silver S logo and the cape. The red eyes are a nice touch as well. As a variant of the main character figure, I'd recommend picking this one up.
