Perfect & Easy
Had to replace one on my sliding deck door at Surfside Beach. It took 5 minutes and fit perfectly with the old broken one. thank you

cheap flimsy latch
you get what you pay for. Flimsy and difficult locking mechanism

Broke after 16 months.
We ordered this sliding door handle as it looks just like our precious door handle and we needed a replacement. It worked well and fit the door nicely. Unfortunately it just broke after less than 1.5 years and with regular use (it’s on a door we use daily but not too often). The break occurred where the screw goes into a metal sleeve. I’ll be ordering a replacement from a different company.

Need a flush surface?
A little tricky to install but with a little ingenuity can be done. Removed sliding door handle and replaced with this handle to accommodate a accordion blind, for an inside mount. Nice product at a reasonable price.

Perfect fit
Our original lock on the patio door broke. We thought we would have to replace the entire door so we decided to try this lock. Lucky for us it fit perfectly.

Does the job
I replaced our broken lock on our sliding glass door with this, and didn't even have to install the included hook on the opposite side. It fit in the old jamb perfectly, and caught the old hook.Took only a few minutes, and looks nice. I may order more to update our other sliding doors.

Will NOT work with 7/8" door AND optional key lock
This product is sold as a set that fits a 7/8" door. That is partially correct. It will NOT fit a 7/8" door if you intend to use the optional key lock!! The set with the key lock installed will need at least 1" of door to get the inside and outside parts to mate correctly and tight against the door. If you put the key lock in and place it in a 7/8" door, the lockset will flop loosely in the door as it's just too thick.I was able to take the actual lock part of the set and use that in my old hardware. The rest of the new set went into the trash. It's a shame as it's a nice set. It just doesn't work with a 7/8" door if you expect to lock it with a key.
