Ahhh! ::sigh of relief from rubbing power wheelchair legs::
This normal body size power wheelchair lower leg and foot padding is a very welcomed addition that is easy to install. Using a very few simply foot pedal home_made extensions, I was able to add at least 6 inches of length to my metal foot rests with this much more comfortable and shock absorbing cushioning. As far as the lower leg portion of padding, I used 1 green strip of a Thera-band used and old from years of use for Physical Therapy, to tie behind the top of the cushion to keep the cushion flush forward to provide support to my legs. A piece of rope or laminated wire could had worked just as well. Best of all is when my power wheelchair is in a full backward recline with my legs up in the air: then, this cushion functions like a very soft pillow to support my legs, ankles and feet. This cushion can even be made waterproof by covering it with a large enough plastic bag, leaving small slits on the sides for the velcro straps that fasten the cushion to the wheelchair legs.

not at all sturdy
calves/ankles sink into padding and feet slip off. overall NOT functional

Pillow does the job for cushioning the back of the legs.
It works to cushion the back of the legs.

Works to keep me foot on the foot peg
This foot box keeps my feet on the foot area and prevents my leg from going under the wheelchair. It is really bendy/not supportive, has poor velcro atachments, doesn't prevent my feet from turning sideways.

ok, not great for "platform" use.
did not serve the purpose we needed. Patient was still able to stick feet down between the peddles. Maybe for a normal just add comfort standpoint it would be fine but to form a "platform" it isn't sturdy enough.

Comfortable but won't stay on foot rests.
This appeared to be comfortable, but my mom has dementia and crosses her legs. The minute she does this, the pressure bends the middle of this foam support and falls off the feet supports that brace it. The picture is very misleading. It appears to be a leather type of support but is not. Just a thick foam support that really can't be cleaned either. It would probably work if you keep your feet steady on it, but when pressure is put on the middle, it weakens the material and the feet supports no longer hold it on.

Terrible and flimsy
Buyer beware….. They will not accept returns if opened. I opened ( to see it ) and never used it once it came out of the package. This wheelchair foot rest is flimsy and made of cheap material. Not water resistant. So disappointed in the product and the company for not accepting this return.
