Good for the dog if it has bowl Issues

My Yellow Lab has awful allergies. She has them year round, but the Spring and Fall are definitely the worst. I've bought this product a few times and it seems to help. It doesn't stop her scratching and her ears and belly still look pink, but she does seem more comfortable. I hate having to give her antihistamines. I found that I can't give her the normal dosage, as she gets loose stool. She is 76 pounds, so the dosage should be six chews and my dog that's 42 pounds, should get 3 chews. Both of them had awful gas and loose stool at this dosage. I am now giving them 4 and 2 chews, respectively. I think NaturVet has many good products and I'm sure this one may work for those, that don't have as severe an issue, as my Lab.Update my review!!!! I find that if you divide the amounts, morning and night, it works better. So my smaller dog get one in the morning and my big Lab gets 2 in the morning. In the evening, the smaller one gets two and the larger dog get four. No upset stomach then. The Lab has very bad allergies, I would say that this helps her by about 80 - 85 %. She is not constantly scratching and rubbing her face, plus her ears and belly are not red all the time. Her ears just look a little pink and I put some aloe lotion on them. My small dog, is probably at about 95% with this. He has goopy eyes some mornings, but that is it.

I have two senior corgis and once put on prescription urinary food, they became constipated. The vet recommended Pro Plan Forti Flora and I noticed they still seemed to strain to go. I tried this product and it is wonderful. Perfect poops and they do not have to strain. One a day crumbled in their am food along with the Forti Flora and they are happy and regular. Hope this helps those of you who are looking for a good stool softener for their dogs.

If your dog also has a seizure disorder please look close at ingredients as rosemary oil is in it and can trigger them.Our dog didn't mind the taste and actually ate the supplement like a treat but it didn't help her bowel movements. We decided to not utilize due to this and the risk of her seizures being triggered by the Rosemary extract.Also just to clarify, Rosemary extract is abundant in dog treats. For non seizure doggos, it's great for coat health etc. we are just really cautious due to the potential it has to trigger seizures and our warning isn't due to any nefarious thing the company is doing!Edit: wanted to come back and say that the seller saw this and was VERY kind and gave us a refund due to the ingredient confusion and experience we had with the product. We really appreciate the integrity and professional support!!!

My pit bull/ dashound, yes you heard correctly, had some constipation so I of course went on Amazon. I read alll the reviews, good and bad, to make my decision on everything I buy. The Naturvet Stool Ease works GREAT 👍. I did have on auto fill but I was getting too much so I order when I have about a week left. He gets one a day. IF he does get constipated, due to someone else giving him things he shouldn't eat I'll give him 2 a day.Riley has a sensative stomach. On special food. I add canned pumpkin to his wet food. OMG. He loves pumpkin. If that don't help him go, Stool Ease does every time. No straing or pushing. Formed.And Sshh, he thinks they are treats ! I don't give my pets treats they are bad for them. That's my Riley.

I had read reviews about the product packaging making the product dry up. I found out that all you need to do is put a piece of saranwrap over it before placing the lid back on and it all stays moist. The chews work great and I think anyone purchasing needs to know the product is great! Just take the extra step putting the wrap under the lid and all will be wonderful! Your dog will not be constipated and your product will stay moist!

DO NOT use if your dog has a history of SEIZURES. This product contains rosemary extract. This triggered my dog to have one of the worst seizures she has ever had. There should be a big warning on here but there is nothing stated on the packaging. I don’t understand why an ingredient that could be deadly for a dog with a condition is included and not highlighted as a risk. No problem at all with the seller but the manufacturer messed up big time!
