Used to have all kinds of algae problems in my in ground pool. Pool guy suggested bio shock and I have never had a algae problem since. Great for algae removal and prevention and overall keeps my pool looking crisp and clean. Expensive but worth it. Great quality and easily to use. Dissolves quickly with nothing left on the bottom. The best option that I have used.

I have been using this product for many years. It is an effective product, as our pool remains clear and clean all summer long. A bonus is that it does not over chlorinate the water and swimming is okay a short time after putting it into the pool.

I put one packet in my pool every Tuesday. 15 minutes later your good to swim. I've had my pool 2 summers & along with the frog these are the only two things I put in my pool. I'm in Wisconsin so other climates may differ, but it's been excellent for me.

My Intellichlor chlorine generator went out and almost over night I lost all chlorine levels in my pool and had green wall algae starting. I replaced the Intelichlor devices, added 2 bags of this produce and ran the filter overnight. The next moring the chlorine level was perfect, algae was deminished and water was clear. It also did not have the strong chlorine smell you sometimes get with shock. Good product.
