Definiteness of purpose - a must read - one of the best
If you’re looking for something different in the self helo space this book is definitely it. I’ve read Think and Grow Rich by the same author. This is nothing like that.Written in the style of a conversation between a man and the devil the story unfolds in intricate detail about how “the devil” stops us all from achieving our wants and desires. The book goes into great detail to explain how we get derailed and as well as that how to get back on track.I’d recommend buying two copies and a notebook. One copy to make margin notes in and a spare to give to a friend. The notebook for all the additional notes you’ll want to take from it.Has it changed my life? Absolutely. Few books have had an impact on me like this has. I’ve developed a “definiteness of purpose” mindset thanks to this book.To get a taste of tbe book check out the YouTube version which has it narrated by two people. You’ll get a good feel for the book and its style from that.I’d rate this ten out of ten. One of the best books I’ve read.

How to stop drifting and be successful, from a Master Mind
This book provides as clear an understanding of what will hold you back from becoming successful as it is possible to discover. Only published recently, it was completed shortly after Napoleon Hill had published Think and Grow Rich (10 million coppies sold), but they thought that the establishment, religous bodies and the bankers would cause harm to prevent its popularity so it was not published, until now. It will soon become a publishing sensation as soon as the establishment realise that he has given away all the secrets of the power 'They' use to keep you subservient and poor. The freedom given to communication through Social media will ensure that this goes viral, eventually. You are not destined to stay uneducated in the ways of wealth creation. Buy this expose, read it, add it to your bookshelf, next to Think and Grow Rich, and take some action to stop you drifting into your grave as a poor person.

Unusual, and well worth a read
A very unusual book. A few parts are a little dated and not relevant now, but the vast majority is absolutely spot on! When you consider this was written in 1938 (but not published until 2011) it's amazing how accurately Hill's comments and predictions turned out to be, and how depressing that a lot of things he complained about back then still haven't changed!The style is quite easy to read, and is intriguing. It's broken up well, so you can read little parts here and there when you have time, without disrupting the flow too much.It's perhaps slightly repetitive, and could have been made a little more concise, but it's well worth a read. Hill covers some topics in this book, such as Hypnotic Rhythm, that I haven't seen him cover elsewhere, at least not using the same language.The main message of the book is that drifting, without definiteness of purpose, will have you claimed by the devil!

Eye Opener
Love this book, a great read and a lot of home truths for so many of us. Whether you want to believe he interviewed the devil or not he still had answers in this book for all of us to think long and hard about as to why we procrastinate and drift through life instead of using the limited time we have on this planet to live our best life.

one of its kind, it is what gives you an opportunity to understand you life and where you stand
if someone doesn't know who control one's life and how, this is a must read. This book escape me from the clutch of watching motion video and talks every now and then. self improvement assessment is a first step in self improvement and that too when you don't know what is going one and you have no control over your life. After that, I read "get things done", the next step from here.

A book for the coffee table....!
If you are ever stuck for conversation (to coin a phrase) then this is a book to have at hand to create it. I am a great fan of Napoleon Hill and have just recently heard, and purchased this book. Now half way through it I am fascinatated by Hill's ability to cut to the chase and bring a very current feel to the fore. There are many people in history that it would appear, have been born too soon and sound as if they are actually modern in their thinking and their passion to offer solutions through the written word (if we are astute enough to read and take note!) But why should we believe they are born too soon and sound current. Do people from the past not deserve credit for their abilities to cut through all the difficulties faced by war and poverty. They did it because we are here as living proof they survived. I am amazed this book has not been around as long as Think and Grow Rich, but I believe that reading them in this order gives a better insight into Hill's background and mindset. I am reading it carefully and aiming to step into Hill's shoes as he interviews the Devil. What an amazing way to kickstart your thinking processes - it certainly has had a profound effect (even this far in) on my strategic thinking and the goals I am dusting off to find the tiny tweeks that are necessary to complete the journey. Wow. (But a warning - Sharon Lechter is surplus to requirements on this. Her notes are childish and condescending at the very least, and a painful distraction at best. Ignore them as it dilutes the message Hill is trying to get across. What a shame the publisher felt it necessary to add them. I implore you to read around them!)

A must have book.
All I can say is WOW! Wait until you get to the point of the interview. It will send chills down your spine. Picked up this book but can’t put it down. I’m a Napoleon Hill fan but this one has to be the best in my opinion…
