Very good product: in the 80’ and 90’s I used to work in a carpet cleaning company, we only used Host I worked 10 years with it. we used to clean famous people houses For my experience carpet dry cleaning Host works excellent depending the carpet how old is it. It’s Work amazing only if you have a HOST Machine and a very good vacuum cleaner. That’s for a professional carpet clean company. for little spots a hand brush, won’t work that well depending the spots, if a spill just happens it works good. You have to buy the spray bottle spot to. Host dust smell good depends how much you use. the product is expensive. I like cleaning my house with this product due that I have the original classic machine plus 10 years of experience.

Easy to use does a good job

I used to work overnight in datacenters; usually hidden away in a windowless room attached to some office. Have you ever wondered how carpet trudged upon in all weather in commercial buildings looks so good? I wondered too. At night I would see a crew of people putting this crumby stuff down, brush it into the carpet and then vacuum it up. I talked with one of the crew and found this product host dry clean carpet cleaner. It is essentially ground-up corn cobs, some water to make it damp, and a bit of fragrance. Under the microscope you would see that each piece of the material has thousands of hooks on it. What happens is that it is spread, brushed vigorously into the carpet fibers and everything sticks to it (dirt, soap residual, allergens, you name it). After about an hour, the damp is gone, and they vacuum it up taking all the nastiness with it. In a commercial setting, they have machines to spread the material and brush it in. At home you can spread by hand and manually brush it in with a long-handled brush, hand brush, or rent a residential host beater brush machine for a weekend to scrub it in (which I suggest if you are doing whole and multiple rooms rather than traffic ways or smaller areas). There are no chemicals, child and pet safe and cleans unbelievably. NOTE: You have heard the warnings about wet-cleaning carpets. The home machines are just unable to remove all the dirty soap residual - making them get dirty faster the next time. Using host after wet-cleaning (or treating a bad stain), will ensure that the soap residual is removed too to keep the carpet from getting dirty by the left behind sticky substances.
