Works good with Dell e4300 and e6440
Great car/DC charger for laptop. Genuine Dell, works great so far. Bought to power Dell e4300 from 12 volt DC sources. I use my laptop with Amateur Radio gear for digital modes and for programing, etc. I wanted to be able to power the laptop from DC for emergencies. So far it works well, but I still need to test it for noise on HF. Even so, it works great for powering/charging the laptop in the truck. Have also used it on my work laptop, an e6440, worked fine.

Genuine Dell 90W Auto DC Power Adapter
I bought this for my M15X Dell Alienware Laptop. I didnt know if it would work becaue I had read may online post that my Alienware needed too much power to use a 12V DC adapter and that the only option was to buy a power inverter that connected to the car battery and use the 150Watt AC Plug. I didnt not want to do that because I dont always use the laptop in my personal vehicle, but several vehicles. I bought this charger and it works great. The laptop fuctions as it should but it will not charge the battery while the laptop is on, but the battery will keep what charge it had before plugging into the 12V plug. Once the laptop is turned off it will then charge the battery.

This works great for late model Latitude and other compatible Dell laptops
This works great for late model Latitude and other compatible Dell laptops. I have a few E6xxx laptops and a D630 that this works with. Wish this worked for my Venue 11 Pro though...Dell used to have a dual purpose wall AC and car DC adapter, but it is a bigger bulkier thing than this is. This is compact and light and easy to pack and use.

Nice little piece....
Received this yesterday. I was surprised how small this really is, it has a nice solid feel, not cheap, but the tip of the lighter plug broke off in my hand and had to superglue it back in place. Other than that, it does seem to be pretty sturdy, only time will tell. I checked BIOS when I started the computer and it does see a 90W adapter plugged in. I used it in the car today on my 30 min. drive to work and the plug did get warm, but it didn't feel any different in temperature than the AC adapter I use at home (use Latitude D630). It does charge the battery in my laptop, but it could vary depending on how much it's being used. I bought this for my daughters to use the laptop on road trips to watch movies, etc. It should keep them busy enough to not have to ask "Are we there yet?" I probably would have given this five stars right off the bat, but took one away for the tip breaking.

Genuine Dell adapter
It is exactly what it says it is and it works just fine for the laptops that use the PA-3E connector (Latitude, Studio, Vostro, Inspiron, Precision, etc.). Solid construction and the rubber strap is a nice extra. Dell sells this exact same adapter for nearly $100. You do the math...

Great when it works...
I've now had two of these chargers die on me. The first worked for almost 2 months before quitting. It lights up, when first plugged in, but dims and flashes rapidly as soon as I plug it into the computer. The second I've only had for 2 days and will no longer power up at all. Both were used on a Dell Latitude E6530. The seller was great in sending the second replacement charger as a warranty repair, but I feel that Dell must have a poor design with the chargers if they're not going to last. They were great while they lasted since the don't take up the room that a power inverter and wall charger do in my truck, but if they're not going to last, I can't rely on them and will need to carry both anyway. With that, I'm back to a power inverter and my standard Dell wall charger.

Works great!
Works great to keep my Dell 9530 going as long as I use a proper plug adapter with data pin. My laptop requires 120 watt power supply so this power supply only runs the laptop, not charges it. This is as expected and works great for my needs.

Sturdy solid and cool running.
Perfect size. Well constructed. Feels very solid. Nice heavy weight cable that isn't going to fall part quickly. I like the white LED vs the Blue of the normal wall chargers. The unit feels sturdier than my Belkin unit, and it doesn't heat up as much. Charges my various Dells I drag around in my car quickly.
