In response to your inquiry, Simply plug it in to your car’s 12v outlet to warm the fragrance refill inside, and enjoy car-filling, true-to-life fragrance for up to 60 days. The soft glow of a blue LED lets you know when the diffuser is on. Use the switch to control the fragrance strength — High, Low, or Off. Refills are mess-free and easy to change.

Q: It is safe to leave this plugged in when my car is turned off? Do I have to remember to remove it when I get out of the car every time?

Q: If this is installed sideways in a car does it leak or drip out from the top?

No this is just a warmer the packets you put in are sealed and this just warms them very gently mine is mounted horizontally and have no problems

Q: Doesn't smell. the blue light ring is on but i can’t even get a hint of smell. is there something i need to do? it is switched to full.

Same here! I ordered mine in Aug of last year and it has literally done nothing. The light is in and the switch is as well but the wax disc is untouched. I have not smelled anything the entire time.
