Walker Ultra EPA 16434 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter 2.5" Inlet (ID) for Ford Explorer

I didn’t have to remove the transmission crossover to install this. I did have to cut the old one out though. I’d recommend buying the 02 sensors, mine would not come out. The nuts are a good idea as well

What best to say other than this fit perfect and my mileage went up by 20%! I guess they were way more needed than I thought! Great product Walker!

Took a little manipulation but got it to fit without having to drop transmission cross member I know now why it came in two pieces:-) No gasket required on header pipes just output to muffler.

I was waiting for good weather to get the new cat installed. I opened the box and find the converter sent is in two pieces and includes a cheesy u-bolt connector to join them. The cat boxes pictured are also different from what I received. The dimension from joint to cat box on left bank is also slightly shorter that the one pictured and different from what is on my vehicle. I have a 2010 Ford Explorer Limited 4.0 V6. The product picture is exactly what I need and intended to purchase but what Walker sent is very different. The label on the outside of the box does say it is the 16434. So beware, low quality junk that will leak around the crappy coupler. I didn't even get to find out if pipe diameters and other dimensions were correct but I assume there were other surprises had I gone into installation. I am furious!!! Picture what you are selling!!!
