Nice alternative. Environmental impact?
I repeatedly buy these as throwaway food savers and lunch boxes. The band's don't fit. It's just better to use tape when needed. I have convinced myself that they are environmentally better (or at least environmentally neutral) when compared to plastic containers. On a per unit basis, they actually cost more than the plastic containers. Since I am not saving money, I hope that they are actually better for the environment

The dimensions on their website are wrong. This product is not 3 in height.

I had found a much better product a couple years ago, these are fine for dry snacks or cookies etc.... left overs not so much.
