My original ice packs were forgotten in the freezer of the mini fridge when we left our hotel. I need these for a broken ankle that just hasn’t healed. Upon arriving home I started the search and out of all the options I still came back to these. I only use them for my ankle so I can’t speak on how it works beyond that. The Velcro stayed strong on my original wrap for 18 months, which to me is impressive. It did stretch a bit but I would say that that is to be expected with nearly daily use. Ice packs refreeze nicely and are a good size overall. Would do it a third time if I had to.

Let me start by saying this: I purchased these specifically because I'm prone to knee pain after long runs. I needed reliable, reusable packs that could handle both heat and cold, and these promised exactly that.Initially, I had a slight issue with one of the packs. I decided to contact the seller directly first. And WOW, am I glad I did! Their customer service was absolutely outstanding. They responded to my email within hours and were incredibly friendly and helpful. That’s the kind of service you just don't see much anymore.In conclusion, I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable, versatile, and effective hot/cold pack solution! I recently had shoulder surgery and have been using these ice/heat packs for post-op recovery. The ice pack itself is flexible enough to mold around my shoulder and stays cold for the full 30 minutes I need for icing. In fact, it likely stays cool even longer. I haven’t tried it as a heat pack yet, so I can’t speak to that functionality.The included bag and elastic velcro strap are handy for securing the pack in place. However, a word of caution for those with a larger frame: the strap just fits me (I’m on the smaller side) when worn as a sling under one armpit and over the opposite shoulder. For larger individuals, the strap might be a bit tight or too short, and it might not fit as comfortably, it all depends on where you need to secure the packs on. your body.Overall, I was looking for a versatile ice pack, and this one works well for my needs. The design with the bag and strap is practical, and it’s been really helpful in my recovery process.

The ice/heat gel packs have excellent coverage and a durable and effective pouch with a great Velcro closing and an elastic strap with Velcro attachment. Also, having 2 gel packs lets you get relief from one while the other is freezing, and once the one you are currently using gets too warm one or if using it for heat gets room temperature, your other pack is frozen and ready to go or ready to be heated for continuous relief 24/7 (if necessary). I highly recommend getting the heat/ice 2 pack gel packs with the Velcro pouch closure and elastic strap for securing the pouch to wherever it is needed. Great product for relieving mild to moderate pain.

I bought these because I was having a full knee replacement. These packs are great as you can mold them to the shape you need and the velcro pocket pouch keeps your ice pack in place. Coming with two packs is great as you can keep changing them out so you always have a cold one. You can't beat the price for what you get.

This ice/gel pack with the wrap around closure is great. It's flexibility allows me to wrap and hold the pack in place without slippage. I especially like the cold pack because it stays in position without worry about melting ice or wetness. When not it use it easily packs away. I also like that the gel packs can be used as cold or hot packs

Works very well! Wrap stays securely in place with the wraparound Velcro strap that can be adjusted to fit any part of my body. I’ve tried both the heat and cold and they both work well. Only needs about 30 seconds in the microwave and holds the heat for awhile. I don’t use the cold as much but that works very well too and stays cold for long

Pros:• The large size in comparison to others that cost more appeals to me as my lower back pain is not just in one small spot.• I like that it comes as a two pack.• I like the convenience of slipping the ice pack into the “pillow pocket”.• The strap is nice and long and the velcro is very strong.• It stays put and doesn’t slide or move around.CONS:• The material on the “pillow pocket” as I’m calling it is a little thin. I wish it was thicker.• there are 2 sides of the pillow pocket…one is a mesh material and the other is like a thin blue felt type material which is where the Velcro at the end of the strap sticks to. I feel it is backwards in that the mesh side should not be the side against your skin since there’s holes and it’s almost like putting the pack directly on your skin with no protection. If I turn it the other way then the Velcro on the end of the strap doesn’t affix to the mesh. If they had put the Velcro on the other side of the strap, or even both sides, you could decide which is best for you. I guess I can always sew a piece of material over that mesh, but I don’t think I should have to do that.• Again, even if both sides were made of the same material where the Velcro sticks, that material that they used is kind of thin. So not the greatest protection on the skin either.So overall I guess I would recommend it as it does do the job. It needs a few tweaks in it’s construction for 5 stars.
