Great for teaching math skills

I was hoping for something a little more refined to give as a gift, but all in all, it’s decent quality. I would recommend different gift packaging, AND I would buy this again... Not as a retirement gift, but definitely as a lovely gesture. Thank you!

For the price, this is pretty well made and useful. I wouldn't recommend it for very large hands, but for many young people I would say that it is a good size. I haven't noticed any big cracks or chips in the wood, so I'm very happy with it so far. My only (minor) complaint is that it is listed as coming with a stylus, but I didn't receive that in the package. It wasn't a big deal for me as I didnt really need it, but if you were needing one with the product please double check everything when it arrives.

I am glad I found a good wooden abacus helping me learning it for calculation. The instruction book came with the book, and is easy to understand. I learned addition and subtraction within 5 min. Next steps are multiplication, division and square root. It's very fund.

Huuuuge , so big and heavy really hard to use it.Abacus needs to be held horizontally but this is too heavy to do that. You dont always have a desk to use it when practicing
